Due Date: Wednesday, November 7th
We are currently in our 2 on 2 unit. At the beginning of this unit we spent several days working on post moves and focusing on a post-wing game. Based on what you have learned, how is your team's post game during game play? Do you think this is affecting your win/loss record? Why?

My team dosen't really use a postgame. I don't its the reason we have been doing ok lately.

My teams post play is ok it is not great but it still is not Affecting my teams win loss record because we are able to play defense and also run a good give and go and we are able to shoot the ball

During game play, our post play is moderate to weak. Days that we are strong in post, we both do moves like a fake a screen-away and V-cut sharply back to post. Or, Flash cut from the block, and a reverse pivot. My Partner is excellent at boxing out and getting the rebound in post. In post, I drop step to the lane, pivot and execute a jump hook shot. But many times our post play is weak as we are focused on a mainly shooting game (guard). During those games, our post play falls behind and we either forget to do out post moves or, we aren’t as strong with our post moves. This lack “post play” in our games have affected our results in score and ranking. We have more loses, because our shots aren’t always accurate, and because we lack post play in some games. Games that we don’t engage in a lot of post plays can cost us the game. And when we do use our post moves and our post game is strong, our chances of winning is much higher.
On my team we don't really have post play. We have learned some post moves in class like the drop step and how to get open at the post but we haven't really used them. Usually one of us will take an outside shot or dribble in for a lay-up. This may be affecting our win loss record because we have more wins than loses. By playing in the positions as a post player and a wing player, this may open up more opportunities for us to score.

The post move makes my opponent lighten up on defense and after BREAKING ANKLES!! I end with a shot. And this move increases my partner amd my chances of winning.

My team does not really use any of the post moves we have learned. My partner usually takes an outside shot or drives to the basket. This may be affecting our record because we do not get as many shot opportunities.

My team doesn't use post play a lot in our games, because our post play isn't very strong. My team can drive in with layups and can make mid-range jump shots. If we did use post moves, we would've had a bigger threat playing other teams. However, I do not think it affected out gameplay that much.
We don't usually use the post because we use the give and go alot more often which gives us easy layups for easy points just like the post would. It doesn't really affect our record because we still get wins, but maybe some of our close losses could have been turned into wins if we utilized the post more.

my team is o.k. because my teammate is tall so he is pretty good in the post but i am not tall so i am not good in the post. this affects are wins and losses because i cannot go for many layups in the post because of my size.

Overall our post game play is pretty moderate, maybe a little bit above average. I personally believe that if we had a better post game we would win more. But overall I am pretty satisfied with how my team plays.

In our games so far, my team's post play is very weak. We do not often use the post moves we have taught in class. What affects our teams record is that we aren't extremely effective in getting shots in and our defense could be improved.

My team isn't bad but that's because I post up while takes jumpers and plus he's not as big as other guys in other teams so that definitely affected our record.
-Joseph Villar
My team uses the post sometimes but not often. Since my partner and I are are the normal size that post position players are. I think if we used the post a lot more then we would have won more games because our outside shooting is ok but is not good enough to win us games
Hunter Saturn
my team has doesnt really use post play but it doesnt effect our wins

My team doesn't use post play in our games, but we try to use moves against the defender. We do well on layups and jump shots but post moves doesnt really affect our game as much.

My team uses the post game occasionally but it isn't that effective to our playing style. We usually just stick to give and go's and shooting in order to succeed in our games.
-Austin Shin
My team does not use much postgame. We are not very effective in it, but it has helped our winning by giving us a way of making the basket after a rebound, by posting up the defender.
During our games we do not use post moves that much, usually we pass and shoot. I do think it is effecting our score because if we did the post moves than we would have more space between us and the opponent so we have a easier time shoot.

My team doesn't have a post game, but we should because i think not having one is affecting our win/loss record negativley. We haven't been doing as well as we could.
My team and I usually don't use the post game, instead we set picks or do moves such as the jab-step. We pass a lot and shoot. I don't think it is affecting our score because we've won a bunch of games without using the move.
Chrissy Bussard
My team rarely uses a post game, for we usually spread the ball on the wing. We have mostly use pass and cut moves to score.
