Period 1 - Team Games

1.  When throwing the lacrosse ball where should your top hand be?

2.  When catching the ball, what position should stick be in?

3.  What are 2 things you can do to make yourself a better thrower in lacrosse?

1)At the middle of the stick.
2)Straight up and down to give with the stick to catch the ball.
3)Keep my top hand at the middle of the stick and raise my front elbow up before I throw it.

1) Your top hand should be in the middle of the stick but if you're a beginner, you can choke up a bit.

2) When catching the ball, the stick should be straight up and down and in front of your face

3) 2 things that will make you a better thrower are keeping your elbow up and your stick behind your head

2.When catching a lacrosse ball the position of the stick should be out in front of you.

3. I can try to make myself a better catcher by keeping the stick out in front of me. Finally, I can also try to make myself a more successful thrower by keeping the ball craddled and have a better motion.

1.When throwing, your hand should be as close to the middle of the stick as possible

2.Straight up and down and near the front of your face

3. I could be more cautious about moving my hand to the middle of the stick when throwing and have better form when catching
