1. V-cut, fake a pick, spin move
2. face the defender, jab step, then a pull up jump shot
3. Yes I do agree because small players like Chauncey Billups and other guards perform well in the post

Some ways to get to the post is doing a V-cut or doing a spin move to get to the block. You can also fake a screen, turn, and then come right to the block.
Ways to give your opponent a different look in the post is by doing moves like a fake to the middle and then a fade away. You can also use the right handed hook shot.
I do not agree with his statement that you don’t have to be well built or tall and strong when playing post. I disagree with this because when the opponent has the ball his chances of missing are higher when he sees a large defender in front of him. This is because the guard player or outside shooter physiologically thinks that, “this guy is going to foul me or block my shot.” Which a lot of times is true. Being taller helps you put your hand in their face, blocking the shot. And being well built or stronger can help you scare the opponent. I think Carlos Boozer is a great player but I just don’t agree with him in his statement.

1) you can v cut and use a spin move
2) face your opponent up then jab step
3) no i do not agree because point guards are fairly small so it is not smart thing to do.

1. v-cut across the defender's face, fake the pick and spin into post.
2. instead of backing down, face the defender, jab to catch him off balance and shoot the jump shot.
3. Yes, because playing in the post is more about technique than it is about size.

2. Use a jab-step to fake out the defender and then shoot the jump shot.
3.Yes, because it should not matter how big or small you are, but how good you are at that postition.

1. You should V cut and use a spin move
2. You can go towards the defender, jab step, and fade away
3. I do agree because post playing is more about positing on the court and how well you play then it is about your body size.

1. To get to the post position on the block, you could pretend to set a pick and then roll off your defender. Another move is that you could v-cut by faking one direction and then turning the other way and running to the block.
2. In the post, intead of always playing with your back to a defender, sometimes you can turn around and face them up to give them a different look.
3. I do not think that you have to have a large physique to play the post position, because if you have good ball-handling skills you would be able to get to the basket and be very successfull. However, I do believe that it helps to be bigger and taller because then things like rebounding and dunking are easier.

2. Turn around and face the defender then use a jab step then shot
3.Even though height can help in the post i do sgree because players like chauncey or dirk arent that big and are still sucessful in the post

There are two way to get positioned in the post. First, you can do a V-cut. Secondly, you can do a spin move. To give your oppenent a different look in the post, you can face towards the defender or do a jab step. Lastly, I disagree with Carlos Boozer's statement because it doesn't matter how tall or strong you are when playing post. Although it's seems as people who are smaller tend to do well in that position.

1. You can get into the post by doing a V-cut and a spin move

2. What you can do is give the deffender a fake through the use of the jab step, and then once you have space do a jump shot.

3. Yes, I personally believe that anyone has the skill to do anything if they put the time into it.

2 ways to get position in the post is a v-cut and spin move. One way to give your opponent a different look in the post it to do a jab. I do agree with him because the way a person is (tall, short, wide) does not make a player good it is the skills of a player that makes them a good player.

1. v cut, fake pick
2.jab step then jump shot
3.i think your size may have a factor in your success, but it isnt the only factor that can help

You can get into position with the v-cut to the low post or jab step fake and go to the post. When you get into position you have to see whether the defender is playing you low or high, size him up and then use post moves quickly and correctly. I think this requires more technique than size because size can give you strength but speed is greatly affected. In my opinion the best example of an undersized player is Charles Barkley because he wasn't that big but he dominated the paint and crashed the boards.

You can v-cute, or fake a screen.
You can fake to the middle, then a fade away, you can also do a hook shot. I agree with him because when you are in the post you need to worry about your technique, and not focus on who is stronger

1. V-Cut and Spin move
2. Jab Step, Fake, & Jump Shot
3. I agree because while in the post it is more important about you technique than size, whether you can get your defender to believe your fakes so you can get enough room to shoot, except if the defender is much taller than who is at the post, then that could be an issue since the player at the post would have to do a lot more work than the defender.

1.) The spin move, and the v-cut.

2.) You can turn towards the defender, jab step or take a quick fade/jump shot

3.) I disagree because players like those don't have the height compared to "Gasol" for example and they will just get rejected.

1) Spin move and V cut
2) Jab step
3)The size matters in the post because the smaller the defender, the person will have the upper han

1. To create space is to do a v cut or todo a spin move.
2. Also you can do a jab step to create space between the defender to catch them off guard to pull up for the shot.
3. Size is an advantage definitely but technique matters more. So size doesn't matter.
