Period 8 - Basketball

Due Date: Wednesday, November 7th

We are currently in our 2 on 2 unit. At the beginning of this unit we spent several days working on post moves and focusing on a post-wing game. Based on what you have learned, how is your team's post game during game play? Do you think this is affecting your win/loss record? Why?

i feel my teams post game has improved. I have richard on my team and he is big so i give it to him in the post and he uses his strength to get an advantage and uses his height to lay it up an in. We do a few post shots a game. I feel we have the height advantage over other teams so we give i give it to the big man inside and let him go to work. I feel when we are strugggling shooting, our our post game gives us another option. sometimes I even uses my speed and moves to post someone up

My partner and I don't use posts in the game as often as we should. Yes this is affecting my teams wins and losses becuase my partner is tall and if she is in a good position she can use her height and score more points which will help my partner and I win more.

I usually pass the ball to my teammate, David, and then post up. After I post up, he usually passes the ball to me, I do a post move, and then socre. This is helping us win more because previously, we tried to shoot more, and that resulted in us losing a few games. But after I started posting up, we began winning again.

My teams post game during game play has improved tremendously. The moves we have learned
in class definitely effects our win loss record. This is due to the ability to score in
paint and post up to score points more effectively. Since my shot isn't the best, being
able to post well helps me, as well as my team, score more points without the risk of taking
long shots. Overall, working on post moves and post-wing game has effected my teams game
and win loss record a lot and adds to the different moves needed to effectively win a game.

Our teams post play is very good. We use the drop step and the up and under move to create space to score. It is affecting our win loss record in a positive way because it leads to wins.

My teams post game has improved a lot since the beginning of the 2v2 games. The moves we have learned in class has helped us win a lot more games. I have Alex Diamond on my team and he has amazing basketball skills. Since I am not that confident when it comes to taking long shots, being able to post helps me and my team to score more points without taking the risk of taking long shots.

My team's post game during game play is alright. Sometimes my partner will post up and I will pass the ball to him and he will pass it back. Sometimes we will score off of this play. I do think that this is affecting our team's game play because if we do this move often then we will have a lot more scoring opportunities.

My team's post game has improved a little, but we're mainly a dribbling and three point shooting team. My team mates are medium height (Jan and Max), but more the guard type like me. Post moves would definitely improve our game, but it'd be hard to learn how. We're not the best shooting team, but we do shoot alot so sometimes it goes in.

I think my team post game is improving but we dont use it as much as we should. It does affect our win/loss record because we are both not so big or tall but we make great passes.

My teams post play is good. We usually do more post plays after getting ofensive rebounds. This is affecting our win/loss record in a positive way because we are able to get a lot of second chance points from post plays after we get offensive rebounds.

my team's post game is awful. we never do post moves even though it would help. it doesnt hurt our win/loss because we have yet to lose and at this point in time we feel we shouldnt change our tactics.

We din't use post moves a much as we would like to. Though, it is easy to score when we do because we are both taller players so the post moves do affect whether we win or lose.

I feel that my team uses the post move a lot and does it well. I belive my teams post's are affecting our record. This allows us to make points and win.

We don't use posts moves that much. Yes i think so, because if we used more posts moves, my partner and i could be in a good position, score more points and improve our wins.

My teams post game has improved throughout our season. Our teams post game is good because we are both big and have experience on playing in the paint. this affects our record because neither of us are very good at threes so our post game must be successful in order for us to win

My partner and I are not the type of players who do post moves. We usually drive to the basket and kick the ball out to the other person if he's open, or cut into the lane. This isn't really affecting our record since we are both decent drivers and shooters and we are able to win with our style

me and my partner post up sometimes but not as much as we should be doing, it is affecting our win/loss record because my partner has a height advantage so he can score point much easier than i can in the post

I feel my teams post game has imporved greatly. our post game is like give the ball to me and ill use my size and strength and hammer the ball to the rim. i dont think so because its is just another startgey to use against another team and it is not our primary way to win.

In our games me and partner do little post work. Where both shooters so we dont post up much. But we both drive to the basket and score.i dont think its affected our win/lost record because we finished 3rd in the regular games and we posted up very few times

i feel that my teams post game rules didnt improve much because we dont work together as much and i think thats the reason we been losing.

My team dosent use post moves that much, but if we started to do post moves more often, im sure it would improve our game. My partner is fast and good on offence and stealing the ball, leading for us to get a quick point.

My partner and I use some posts in the games.I don't really think it affects my teams win/loss record because in general my team is good at shooting versus layups

I feel my team isnt a very good post team. Since there are only two players we dont have as much opportunity to work it down low efficiently. But when we do get it down low we do a very good job of executing. It isnt affecting our record because we are good enough where we can just shoot mid range shots and still win without having to go iinto the post.

My team post game has improved, we both have the size and experience needed to play in the paint but unfortunately neither of us are shooters so that costs us points in the game, and when we get opponents who are good at defense in the paint or are much larger than us it becomes very difficult to make a shot.

My basketball teammate in our basketball unit was and is Jamie i believe that his post game in good for his age and size most of the time when hes in the post he finishes with a lay-up but before that he uses his pevit foot to move around. I think my post game is good because i went to the post on the tallest player in our class (Ethan) i had to move around alittle but in the end i score the basketon him i can easly score in the post on any player but with my size its kinda hard to do that but overall i go to work in the post !!!!

I fell my team has improved in passing and scoring in the paint insead of shooting the ball in bad positions and not scoring by using post moves. This helps are win/loss ratio by giving use more wins.

I believe that our post play has improved. Since Bryn is shorter me and her normally do a give and go were I pass to her and cut to the basket. Since she is quick when someone slow guards her we normally switch, and she passes to me. When me or Bryn plays with Yan He normally uses his height and we pass him the ball and let him shoot from the post.
