CHRIS GOODKIND:

1. Please indicate 2 ways to get position in the post:

-Fake away and do a v-cut and spin move to get away from the block
-You get set a screen and fake the screen and go right to the basket

2. How can you give your oppenent a different look in the post?:

-You can face him up and give him a different look, jab step to get him off balance alittle,
take a jumper, drop by the defender, or fake one way and go the other

3. In the video, Carlos Boozer says that size and build or physique do not determine how successful you will be in the post position. Do you agree with this? Why or why not?:

-I agree because even if you are smaller than your opponent, you still have a chance to post-up
if you have enough skill.

1) -the v-cut and swim move.
- fake screen and spin to the block
2) Face them up. Jab step to get the defender off balance, shoot the jumper if you are confident, drive by the defender. Face them up, fake one way and go the other.
3) I agree because if you have good moves and can get around the defender if doesnt matter what size you are.

2 ways to get position in the post are a v-cut, and and a turn move, when your back is to the basket. You can give your opponent different looks by using the jab step to catch him off balance. I agree with him about post position b/c, while if your bigger and stronger its easier to post up in the post, you can be small and use your speed to create miss matches. whereas the bigger man usually cant.

1. You can v cut away and then back to the post area, and you can fake screen at the top of the key and cut to the block.
2. You can face up and then maybe jab step and shoot a jump shot or you can drive.
3. I partially agree, because it's possible if you are quick, but it's easier if you are big and tall. It's hard for most smaller players to play post against large defenders.

2 ways to get position in the post: Drop step, and v-cut spin move.
How can you give your opponent a different kiij in the post.:
You can jab step or spin move to the hoop.
It is true what Crlos Boozer said because the bigger that you are the easier yo will be able to score in the post.

Max Child-
1)Spin move, v- cut and swim or fake the screen
2) give contact: he is playing you loose dunk it. if he is playing strong then crab dribble and hook shot. To give a diffrent look from that face them and pull up jump shot or drive in hard
3)I disagree, size matters because playing post involves you playing a lot of body on the defender. It is also a lot harder to pull up and shoot if you are shorter. But speed is also important so if you are small and fast you can still be good but just not as good as a fast and tall guy.

1. one way to get in position is by doing the v-cut. Another way is to use the spin move to get down to the low post
2. the jab step or drive to the basket
3. I agree. As long as the person has skills and is able to read the defense, the person can succeed in the post position

1. V-cut and fake screen
2.you can face him up in the post to give your opponent a different look.
3. If your a big guy in the post, you have more of an advantage out of all of them, but the only time smaller players can back somebody up in the post is if they are gaurding their own size unless your really quick. So yes I agree that you don't have to always be big to post.

2 ways to get position in the post could be the spin move and a v-cut.

When you face them up you can fake one way and go the other and jab step drive by or drop by your defender.

Carlos is right because its not about size, but about your skill and technique

2. you can take a jumper instead of a lay up

3. i agree because if you are much smaller than the defender the chances of you scoring are lower because the defender could easily block your shot.

-it doesn't only if the person in the post knows how they can score w/o being big, but being big can be very helpful
