Period 7 - Advanced Basketball

Due Date: Wednesday, November 6th

Please make sure to put your first and last name on your blog.

We are currently in our 2 on 2 unit. At the beginning of this unit we spent several days working on post moves and focusing on a post-wing game. Based on what you have learned, how is your team's post game during game play? Do you think this is affecting your win/loss record? Why?

My team does not use to many post moves when we play. It doesnt affect us because i usually dont miss my shots so we win a lot.

Based on what I have learned, my team's post game during game play is pretty good. We use post moves every now and then, but we probably should use them more often since that would most likely help us win more games.

Yes i think it is affecting our wins and loses.
We do alot of post moves because they make fouls and points

Based on what I've learned our post game is good, but we rarely use it because we just shoot threes. This does not affect our win/loss streak because we are consistently hitting threes and have no reason to use post-moves.

My team does not use post moves because neither of us can score that way. It doesn't affect or wins or losses because we score in other ways.

My team doesn't really use post moves when we play. It doesn't really affect our win/loss record because we win a lot of games just from shooting.

During our games my team uses post moves to get open and get easy buckets. Id say that are post move game does have some effect on our record.

Our teams post game is pretty strong. We go to the post off of pick and roll situations which creates easy scoring opportunities. So this helps us win more games.

Based on what we have learned. our post game is pretty good, but it could be better. Mainly our game is driving and kicking out, or a v-cut that leads to a shot. However, our post game is very important as Haden usually gets in the post and is able to get good position and clear out space on the perimeter, as well as use his height to get high percentage shots and to rebound any missed shots. Could be used more, but it gives us variety so it does affect our win/loss record positively on the most part, as it allows for better rebounding, space, and high percentage shots.

Over all my team is pretty good at post moves. It would help us draw more fouls if we did it more but we pass well to one another for open lay ups and going back door.

My team doesn't reslly play in the post. To me I dont feel comfortable playing the post. And i doesn't relly affect our games, cause all good teams have their wins and losses.

My team does not really utilize the post game as we have a good ball handler in Hans who can break ankles and take it to the rim. We could utilize the post game more and maybe that would help us win more. But otherwise, our record is a product of miscommunication initially and just facing good teams.

Based on what we've learned I can say that my development as a low post player has improved and in turn that has helped me to score more during 2 on 2 games, as well as defending in the post. Seeing as though I haven't played a solid time with my partner it is hard to tell whether it has affected our record.

my team does not really participate in doing post moves because we arent really post players, i guess it would help more and we would score more often if we did.

Our primary method of scoring is not in the post. Our post defense is good, but our post offense leaves something to be desired. However, I think my team benefits from my being in the post the majority of the time because it spaces the floor and gives my teammate (Ben) room to work.

Our team does use a lot of post moves. I think it does affect our team because we're not very good at them and have a losing record.

My team's post game is pretty good and has been effective. It does affect our win loss record because the more we use it, the more points we score which helps us win more games

My team does not use post moves very often, but we still win because we pass a lot and have team chemistry.
