Period 2 Basketball

Due Date: Wednesday, November 6th

Please make sure to put your first and last name on your blog
.

We are currently in our 2 on 2 unit. At the beginning of this unit we spent several days working on post moves and focusing on a post-wing game. Based on what you have learned, how is your team's post game during game play? Do you think this is affecting your win/loss record? Why?

I think that learning how to play post offense has given my team a better chance at winning the game. It adds an extra thing the defense has to defend and at times the defense does not expect post offense which creates a weakness in their defense.

-I think my team is doing a pretty good job.We do use the post move sometimes and yes when either of us do it it does result in us scoring,so yes it does effect our scoring record.since the post move is a really good way to escape your defense without doing a double dribble or walk or a foul, and still manage to shoot.

Although we have a fairly good record, I belive our post game could use some work. I dont believe that we need a great post game to win because we have two fairly good shooters, but by improving our post game we could be unstoppable. The post game could help us expand our way of playing and thinking about the game providing more ways to beat defenders and score.

My team's post game has been pretty good and it helps us win because it is an easy way to score. Also, it is an easy way to escape the defense.

We have an ok post game, since my partner is pretty tall it makes it hard for other teams to guard us which gives an advantage and helps us win more games.

I think our post game is pretty good. It is effective because there are many options to trick the defense. Using post moves helps us win games because it is harder to guard against.

I think that we don't usually use post moves because me and my partner are more of shooters. when we do use it though it usually works pretty well. I think in some games when its close and they're playing hard defense it comes in handy and maybe that's all we need for a win but, sometimes it just doesn't work for us, sadly.

We suck at the post game mainly because we don't need it. In this tournament you only win if you make more threes than the other team. Plus we would rather have a wide open three than a contested shot in the paint.

Our post game is pretty good. I think having a alex who is very tall helps because he plays very big in the post. I think this does help us in our win/loss record because its just another thing the defense has to try and stop. He either scores the first time or gets the rebound and scores.

Our post game isn't very good because Malik and I are small so it's harder to do post moves and score. It's not really effecting us because we take jump shots and make them.

Our post game is pretty good because I'm tall but I just can never make a basket which reflects upon or win/loss record.

Liam Bezzam- although my team has a very good record having a post prescience will space out the floor and if our team did this, we would win much easier

I think we have a decent post game and it helps out our team alot because its hard to defend and thats we we are 16-1.
