Period 3 Advanced Basketball

Due Date: Wednesday, November 6th

Please make sure to put your first and last name on your blog
.

We are currently in our 2 on 2 unit. At the beginning of this unit we spent several days working on post moves and focusing on a post-wing game. Based on what you have learned, how is your team's post game during game play? Do you think this is affecting your win/loss record? Why?

After learning several post moves in class, my team's post game during game play has improved. We are a big team, so posting up enables us to use our height to score. I believe that posting up more has helped us win more games.

I feel like the post moves we learned affects our team's record. I feel like my team doesn't do post moves enough because we have the size to do it but we just drive a lot to the basket.

The post moves we've learned have helped my team a lot. I feel like posting up is a more efficient way to score. It has helped us win more games.

My team's post game during play is mediocre. I am a perimeter player, but kwame is good at finishing near the basket. Our post defense is pretty good though. I dont feel like this is affecting our win/loss record because we still win a lot of games.

My team's post game during game play is not very good. We are more of a pull up or drive to the basket type of team. This is not affecting our record because we are fairly good at our style of game and we can effectively score points regardless of how we play.

During the 2 on 2 unit my team does not use the post very often. We usually drive to the basket or shoot. I don't think it affects our win loss record because I rarely use the post to score and we are better off scoring from outside or driving to the basket.

After learning post moves, we have had more success moving the ball in and out, allowing for wide open 3 pointers. Also, my post moves have allowed me to get much easier lay up opportunities, which is reflected in our record.

My teams post game has not helped my team. We mostly drive and shoot from the top of the key. I feel if we post up we might have more success at getting easy baskets.

Our primary method of scoring is not in the post. Our post defense is good, but our post offense leaves something to be desired. However, I think my team benefits from my being in the post the majority of the time because it spaces the floor and gives my teammate (Dean) room to work.

My team's post play is only a small part of our game but an important part. We tend to drive in from the wing or top of the key, shoot from the outside, and pull-up mid-range mostly. I don't think that not having much of a post game is affecting or Win/loss record because our outside shooting and midrange/ driving in game is on most of the time in the games.

Aftere learning the post moves I feel like it really has not improved my game because I feel like its difficult to use it in the real game but my partner is really good at using post moves

My team's post game is O.K. during game time. I only use post moves once in a while but when I do use it, it always goes in. I don't think it really affest our win loss record because my partner and I like to shoot and drive, not work with post moves.

My teams post game is dope. Michael can post any man up in the league. However we decide to pull up and drain shots instead but when we do post up it works. I dont think it represents our record because we dont use it too much.
