Due Date: Wednesday, November 6th

sure to put your first and last name on your blog.
We are
currently in our 2 on 2 unit. At the beginning of this unit we spent several
days working on post moves and focusing on a post-wing game. Based on what you
have learned, how is your team's post game during game play? Do you think this
is affecting your win/loss record? Why?

I believe that communication is important in these games, and that one player needs to support what the other person lacks. For example, for my team (No.13) I am good at rebounding and defense, while my teammate is best at shooting. Therefore, we communicate be planning for being the shooters at times, while I focus on getting or stealing the ball
I do post in my games, but i don't think that it affects my teams record, because my teammate is has a shot, so he scores most of the points while I focus more on getting rebounds

My teams post game play is not very good. We mostly start from outside the paint and then drive in, which gives more opportunity for the ball to be stolen and the opposing team to score on us. So it is affecting our win/loss recod because the other team kepps getting the ball from us.

I Think that my teams post move plays aren't that good, however we still get a good amount of wins. The reason is simple, my teammate and I are guards, so we are smaller and our posting is usually ineffective, so we go for the shot, or we get past the defender, and we manage to win.

My team's post play is ok because I either do a fadeaway or up and under move sometimes. it usually helps our team play because I can also pass out of the post to my teammate.

My team's post game during play is good. I do think it is affecting our win/loss record because when our post game is good, me make more shots and therefore we win more matches. When our post game is not good, we tend to miss our shots more often and makes our chances of winning are lower.

Our post game is relatively good, especially that of my teammate. I am typically able to give him the ball in the post, and since he is tall, he has the ability to score in the post most of the time. Our team's post game as a whole is good, and it is a big factor in the games we play.

My team should probably use post moves more in our games. Sometimes if my team can't beat the defenders off the dribble, we occasionally use post moves. It doesn't affect our wins and losses very much though.

I think are post play is improved because of the post moves we have been practicing, but it is still a work in progress for our team because of our lack of height. And with the lack of time to fully learn these moves, we have to use our instinct in games to win for the most part, and not rely on the moves.... We use communication and passing more right now. I still do believe we have won more because of this, but are not there yet with the moves.

My post game needs improvements as I drive baseline and paint more because I am fast. I rarely post up because I can,'t back down strong and taller defenders and I will have a high chance of getting blocked.
I think It affects our win lose record because post shots are the highest percentage shots in game of basketball.
If I can hit a higher percentage of post shots by becoming stronger, my team would have a much better record

My teams post game is sufficient. Since I am big and have a good post game, my partner feeds me the ball and I finish it a lot; than we just work on making out opponent turn over the ball back to us, where we than do the same technique. This has worked for us because we have won almost all of our games.

I think it is making us win more. My partner, Zaid, is taller than me so i usually play the wing position. If the post move doesn't work, he can kick it back out to me on the wing and iI shoot the ball. It is a very good partnership.
It is really hard to answer this question when I don't have a teammate, but I believe that a team should work together more than anything. If this task takes communication or leadership, then thats what has to be done!

I think that Patrick and I (team #6) use the post moves fairly often and doing that usually results in us scoring points and sometimes winning. I'm not the greatest shooter, so being able to accomplish the moves in the post and get around the defense really helps my team score points and win in the games.
My teams post game during play is completely absent. We do not use it at all, if we did use it our win to lose ratio would be greatly affected. It gives more oppurtunities to score.

Me and Danny are winning because i usually play inside the post and it works very well. We communicate great and he passes it to me at the best time. If i am tightly covered Danny is a great shooter so we can win

I have not done any post moves in our games. I'm not sure whether or not it would help, but i think it would be better to focus on doing something else to help improve how I play. Even if I did do post moves in a game i don' think it would increase our win rate because im not very good at shooting and would probably miss anyways.

I do posts in my game cause im tall but i dont think it really affects my teams win/loss record because my teammate brian is very good at shooting and scoring and passing me the ball im better at defense like staying with my man and blocking people so overall i dont think its affecting our win/loss record but when we do go to the posts it sometimes works

My team is very uncoordinated and trying to get a post move to happen is nearly impossible. From time to time it happens on accident, but rarely is it successful. I believe if we were able to execute post moves we would have won a lot more games, because we would be able to score more points, whereas right now we rarely score. It would also get us much closer to the hoop.
- Mitchell Johnson
Though my partner and I try to use the post moves, we are both usually unable to execute them, either because the other teams defense is too strong or we do not stay focused and communicate. Because of this we do not usually try to use them, because we have better chances at using other ways to score points. It does not affect our team record
-Daniel Chen
I play the wing, because I am a guard and a shooter, while my partner plays the post in the paint and gets rebounds. This makes us win about half our games, because i have to do almost all the scoring, so when I am off, we usually lose. If our post improved, we would score more and more efficiently.
My partner and I make a good combination of shooting, layups, and post moves. We don't normally have a plan to start off with, but we communicate well to the point where we both know what we have to do. - Chris Golden
I think that communicating and passing the ball is the most importnat in these games. For us, our communication isn't that good but we play well, which may give us not a good win/loss record
-Michael Lin
me and my teamate really know what to do on our post moves him and me really worked good together but the only problem that i have is that my Teamate is scared to defend somebody i am a shooting gruard and my partner is a small forward
