Team positions. A basketball team has five players that play five different postions.
1. A "1" is the point guard. This person is the best dribbler and passer. This person brings the ball down the court and has the best chance of maintaining possesion of the ball if pressure is put on.
2. A "2" is the shooting guard. This person has the best shot on the team. You want this person to shoot the ball for you the most.
3. A "3" is the small forward. This person is a pretty good at shooting and rebounding. They will cut through the lane and be a threat.
4. A "4" is the power forward. This person is a great rebounder and will spend most of the time with their back to the basket, or playing in the post. They will take close shots and look to rebound every ball
5. A "5" is the center. This person is usually the tallest person on the team and specializes in shot blocking and rebounding. On offense, they are like the power forward and play close to the basket.
Please look at your team and assign the players on your team a role or position as described. Put the number next to their name from 1-5 and put yourself last with whichever number you think you will fit into and why.

Steven Sullivan4 I think I fit into the 4 spot because I like to rebound and spend most of my time playing in the post. I like taking shots close to the hoop and want to rebound every ball.

I chose myself for the center position because I believe in my ability to get most rebounds or block a shot. I've also played the position of power foward as well so I am familiar with that position on the team.

honestly my team can all rotate most of these postions and be succesful at the end of the day, we work well when we try and deffense i usaully on point.

but if not i would shoot on the outside for a three pointer. I usually play aggressive
towards getting rebounds.

1. Matt S.- He has good distributing skills and good ball handling skills.
2. Austin- Hes is a good scorer when he drives.
3. Demir- He can shoot well and also has the size to rebound and defend.
4. Nikola- Good size for rebounding, and a good post game.
5. Bereket- He has the size to change shots in the the post as well as great jumping ability for rebounds and blocks. He also has a solid post game.
1- Aaron because he can handle the ball well and pass well
2- Heza because he can shoot and handle the ball well
3- Shawn and Greg because they can shoot and rebound
4- Miles because he is a good rebounder but can also shoot
5- Denell because he is big, can jump, and can rebound well

I haven't been in class much for this unit because I have been sick and this last week I had three AP tests, which is why I have not been in class.
Anyways
Dennell - 1,2,3,4,5 He can basically play any positino he wants when he goes hard
Miles - 3 he has a pretty good shot too
Greg - 2 He has a really good shot from the three
Heza - 5 He is the taller one the team
Aaron - 2 he has a great shot from the three
Me - im more of a 3 because i like to get rebounds and shoot the ball
