Period 4 Basketball

Due Date: Thursday, March 10th

Please make sure to put your first and last name on your blog.

We are currently in our 2 on 2 unit. At the beginning of this unit we spent several days working on post moves and focusing on a post-wing game. Based on what you have learned, how is your team's post game during game play? Do you think this is affecting your win/loss record? Why?

I think our post game is effective in game's. It helps out our win loss ratio, because we can get easy lay-ups instead of having to take contested jump shots. Also, vice versa is we make the other team take hard shots then we have a better chance of winning

My team's post game is pretty solid. Its used well on give-and-gos and also if there is a mismatch on the post player. Our record has also benefitted from the post gameplay and I said why in the previous sentence.

My team's post game during game play is great.I think this is affecting my win/loss record, because using post moves to score is easier than shooting from a farther distance.

Our post game is incredible. We ball like Wall. Our win/loss record is pretty good, I think we've only lost once to some scrubs. I wasn't feeling it that game, and i needed my partner to show up but he missed all his shots. Maybe because our post game was bad also. I don't like to brag, but I AM THE REASON WE WIN. I am a basketball genius. Max Summerlin = Michael Jordan

My teams post game has been improving very much. We have managed to get the ball under the basket in a post up poistion almost every attempt. I think this is really showing an affect as a winning record because we have scored much more points in the post position, instead of a regular shot.

out post game play is not very good and yes because it would bring in more points which would help your record

My team is deffientley positively affected using our post game. My teammate kwyane is tall and a good post player so i can feed him the ball in the paint and he can score or he can get it and dish it out to me and i can knock down the jump shot. We use our post game alot and it leads to success for us.

My post - wing game is not going very well because I am the supposable "bigman" but I believe I am more of an outside player. As a result of my misevaluation of myself, and the style of play I choose to use, we have been losing.

My team consists of two guards, so post moves aren't very common. But a lot of the time when our shooting isn't falling, I post up a lot and try to imitate Carmelo Anthony's offensive game and try to post up and create from there. We have been close in every game we have played, but maybe instead of taking extra three pointers we should create higher percentage shot, this way we can keep up with the other team or pull away.

I think our post game has been very affective so far. The drop step and up and under move have given us the ability to score many points. it also helps our perimeter game because when the defender drops down to double the post it leaves the kick out three open. These positive qualities have affected our record to give us a 4 1 mark and have put us in first place in the NBA.

Our post game is effective in that it adds another level of scoring for our team. When we score off the post play, it forces the defense to double the post player, opening up the perimeter game. It is a big factor in helping us open up the floor and get wins as a result.

I believe that my teams post game is effective enough. I can get too many lay-ups and do better passing game than taking consistent long shots. I also strongly believe that a passing and a lay-up game is more effective than a long shot gamw where you risk your points.

this post move really help us. My teammates are tall so we can easily get more points during a game.

Our team's post game could be solid because I have the biggest kid in the class. As for myself, I don't post up at all because I'm usually the shortest guy on the court. Honestly, we don't use post moves that much so that might be why we've only won one game.

My team's post game during game play is pretty good. It is affecting our record for the better since by using the post move it makes the basket wide open for shots.

My teams post-wing game is off the charts mrs. dyer. Although our record my not reflect it but me and jibri have been improving each game. Getting offensive rebounds is the biggest positive that comes out of it.

My teams post play is different each day since my partner is never here. If i pick up someone who is good in the post it results in easier and more points. so having a strong post game would positively affect our win/loss record.

During game play our post game is not that great but we have Marquelle to get us the three point shots. The post game is not affecting our win/loss ratio because we constantly get the jump shots in.

Our team's post game is very good during our games. I think it helps us win more games because we look inside first for closer baskets, then once our post game is used it can set up for open outside shots.

uhm My partner has a good post game and he is able to make a lot of his shots so we are usually successful in our games.

By playing more of a post game my team has been able to take many more manageable shots. Taking these shots have resulted in more wins or very close losses.

our post game is alright and it helps our win loss record by getting more wins because it forces the defense to double team the post player so he can pass it out and his teammate can get an open shot

Our post game is going and it works effectively because Max always feed the ball good, and i go to work. YOU CANT STOP THE TEAM WORK.

The post has affected our winning record because we both find diferent ways to make it work.

Our post game effects our win loss ratio because it allows us to pass much better and fake and go to the net instead of taking jump shots.

it wasnt affective in our game because non of us did that during the game

I don't think post games are effective in our games because it degrades our win/loss ratio because we cannot easliy get inside the paint for lay-ups. In addition, it is hard to pass to teamates when there is a fast player on the opposing team.

My team's post game is a move used to get a quick basket, and works most of the time. I think it helps our win/loss ratio because we can use it if we are losing by very few points and we need those last second shots to get a win.

The post game is very important because you can beat the defense many different ways. You can do a quick give and go, or the defense might double the ball and the other person is wide open. Also you get a lot more rebounds this way and this is good because it gives your team second chance points.

If we improved our post game, we would have a balanced offense. It would give us more room to shoot threes and we would keep the defense on their heels.

I think that my team is using the post moves pretty effectively. It's helped us win many games because we are making easier layups rather than taking jump shots and losing the ball
