After taking my fitness gram, I want to improve my upper body strength, cardio, and flexibility. I can improve my upper body strength with the core workouts we do in cross country. I also can improve my cardio with the tempo runs and 400-1600 repeats I do on the terrain of the Frost field in cross country. Finally, the drills after our warm up and stretching circle after our cool down in cross country should help me become more flexible.

I was satisfied with my scores, and was surprised at the number of push ups I could do. I would like to improve my mile time and I will try to accomplish this by running more often, for longer periods of time. I could run for increasing intervals to build endurance, then increase my speed.

It's Amanda Myers! I loved that we did the fitness gram in a different way than we did at Frost and am very happy about my scores. I raised my sit and reach score by a lot, and that has always been the hardest test for me. I want to keep on working on getting a faster mile time, so I'll keep on running to keep up my endurance.

Hi Mrs. Dyer! It is me Shaomei Hou. After taking the fitnessram fitness test, my reactions to my score were dissapointment. I was not pleased with my scores since I knew I could have done better. There is a particular score that I would like to improve upon and that is my score for the push ups. I got 5 or less for my push ups. I will need to work on my upper body strength to improve my push ups. To work on my upper body strength, I can practice my push ups several times up to my highest five and stop there. I will keep on adding one more push up everytime I have done five to see how many push ups I can do all together. Another way I can work on my upper body strength is to see how long I can hold the push up position. I will form a right angle with my arms and go down and see how long I can hold it. Once I think I can hold it long enough I can try one or more push ups based on my practice with the position holding.

The fitness gram was different than what I am used to. For example, curl-ups and push-ups in previous fitness gram tests were done to a cadence, not a timed exercise. Despite this, I believe I did average (for me) and up neither happy nor unhappy with my fitness scores except pull ups. I would like to be able to do a pull up. I guess I could lift weights or something.

Hi, its Dani Averill. After taking the fitness test, I would like to improve my upper body strength in both the push-up test and pull up test. I would like to be able to do 20 good push ups by the end of the year, and at least 1 pull up or a 10 second flexed arm hang. I plan to improve this by pushing myself in the push up warm ups for field hockey, as well as extra practice on my own. I look forward to improving in these areas of the fitness gram.

After taking the fitnessgram fitness tests, I think I need to get into shape. :) I am happy with my scores because I did my best during the tests.I want to improve my pull-up score because it was pretty lame. My brother- who is crazy about fitness and being in shape- has a pull-up bar which I will practice with.

After the fitness tests, I am very satisfied with my socres. I would like to improve upper body strength - push ups and pull ups, and a little bit on cardio - mile. I will do this by doing more push ups everyday and running around my neighborhood.

I am very satisfied with my scores...i have done better in every test than i have in any other year. My push-ups doubled, my curl-ups increased, my pull-up doubled, and my flexibility was better. The one thing i want to improve is the mile. I can never break 7:00, and i got close this time, i was exactly 7:00. I can improve my stamina by going on daily runs for 30 minutes each day

Elise Green,
I am happy with my flexibility test score. I hope to improve the amount of push ups I can do and my mile time. I will do this through the strength training and running we do at cross country practice.

I am overall pretty happy with my fitness scores. My mile time was faster than i thought it would be, but that may be because at Cabin John we didn't have a track. I was not so happy although with my push-ups or my pull-ups. I will try to improve this by practicing push-ups and maybe going to the gym more often.

faith kabundji i was happy with all the scores mostly the curl ups and I need more pratice with sit and reach.

In middle school, the push up and curl up tests were not timed but done to a beat. I think I can improve my push ups to 15 by the end of the year, and do one pull up. I work on upper body strength every day with, pushups, but I can increase the amount I do some more.

I am quite satisfied with me fitness test scores, although they all can be improved upon. To decrease my mile time, I will keep up my hard work in Cross Country. I especially would like to drastically improve my sit-and-reach score. I will stretch every day, and hopefully that will result in improving every day.

After the fitness gram test I was satisfied, albeit my scores aren't very good but I tried my hardest. To me that's all that matters. I would like to improve my mile time and push ups. I will improve my mile time, by jogging every day and I will improve my push ups by practicing them every night.

John Arango,
I am really happy about my fitness gram but, I want to increase my upper body strength. I'm taking cross country so I can increase my cardio with tempo runs and I can increase my upper body strength with strength training that I do in cross country. Sometime, I'm going to increase my pull ups, push ups, and other activities if I keep this goal in mind.

With the fitness gram tests completed, I was mostly satified of my scores. I wish to improve all of these scores, as well. By numerous weight-lifting activities will tone my upper body strength. On my daily running route, I would run to improve my endurance, then gradually move to improve my sprinting. After these workouts, I would then stretch to improve my flexibility.
