2. Any amount of time he/she likes. There is no defensive three seconds in high school

3. 10 players are on the court in a regulation high school basketball game

4. triple threat

5. 2 moves we learned in class are the drop step and the crossover. The drop step is a move you use on the post, you drop you pivit foot to get aroung your defender and get in position to score a layup. A crossover can be used in transition to get by a waiting defender, you can then attack the basket and score once you get by him

2. 3 seconds
3. 10 players
4. triple threat
5. Jab step means stepping a non-pivot leg forward without dribbling. It is used to see the defender's reaction to the movement. Pivoting, fixating one leg on the ground and moving with the other leg around the pivot leg, is another effective way to get past the defense. It is often used in conjunction with fakes and followed by a jump shot or lay up. I will use these moves when I am one on one with a defensive player.

"Jab step" toward the defender without bringing your foot back to its starting position. A "jab step" is simply a short, quick step directly at the defender using your non-pivot foot. If your defender doesn't react to this move, push off your pivot and drive past them towards the basket, which is also used in the paint.
