Most of you watched the national championship game Duke vs. Butler on Monday night (or saw the highlights), do you think Duke is/was the best college basketball team in the nation? Why or why not? If you think they were not, who did you feel was the most worthy team of winning the national championship and why?

No I do not think Duke was the best team, I thought they weren't as agressive as some of the other teams they played. I would say Butler should have won because they played as hard as they could the entire time, and defied all the people that said they wouldn't make it nearly that far.
i dont think duke was the most athletic or best overall team but they were the most deserving because they beat every team by a large margin and played and beat a very well coached butler team who had some big wins as well.

I dont think it was Duke being the best team in the country... Teams that aren't very good could beat Duke. Its all about who shows up and who wants to win more. Duke is very good dont get me wrong... but Butler is very good as well Duke just wanted it more in the end.

Kansas was absolutely the best team in college basketball this season. The reason for them not excelling in the tournament is because they played sloppy. They have 6 solid players and their star Sherron Collins has experience in the tourney. I feel if they showed more heart and actually tried all throughout the game instead of just the last 5 minutes they would've won the tournament. Duke won because of a great coach and they had good work ethic.

Yes, I do think Duke was the best team in the Nation. They beat everybody they had to and won the national championship (meaning they are number 1). They were the best 3 point and foul shooting team and I think those are the two most important things in the NCAA tournament. Many teams can't make free throws which kill their chances of winning. Also, Duke played great defense throughout the entire tournament.
I will never say Duke is the best team in the nation i was raised a die hard Maryland fan. Im not saying Maryland was the best team in the nation but we choked we should have easily made it to at least the elite eight if not higher. Overall, i think kentucky was the best team and deserved to win the national championship they had great size with cousins and had great point guard play with John wall those are the two most crucial positions on the floor

No I don't think Duke was the best team in the nation, Kentucky had better players and a better record. I think Kentucky should have won just because of their lineup, but i think the most deserving team was Butler because of how far they went and how hard they played

Duke wasnt the best team, I thought they weren't as skilled as some of the other teams they played. Butler should have won because they played as hard as they could throughtouht the entire game, and proved all the doubters wrong
I think Duke was the best team in the cpuntry. They beat everybody in their path and won the national championship . They were the best overall shooting team and I think thats ane important thing in the NCAA tournament. Duke played tough defense throughout the tournament.
Duke was the best team because they won the championship. No other team deserved to win it because they didn't.

Yes DUKE was absolutly the best team and showed that by winning the national title. It is so hard to win the college championship and the team that is playing the best wins which made them the best team in college.
