Period 4 General PE

Due Date: September 22nd

Yeah I think I did pretty good for my fitness score and I am happy with my results. However I was very dissapointed with my flexibility scores. For example I got both 9's for the sit and reach and I would like to get 12 before the school year ends. I will do this by stretching everyday for 10-15 minutes.

i was happy about my scores on the fitness gram.
i thought i would do worse but i'm actually going to try next time to beat all of my scores.
also i feel that i shouldn't of gotten points taken off for friday because you said that the uniforms would be in by then so it not my fault i wasn't prepared.

I am pretty happy with my scores so far on the physical fitness testing. I would like to improve my mile time as well as my push-up test. So far PE has been awesome and I am looking forward to the rest of the semester.

Max Goldschein says: I am happy with my fitness gram scores overall. I think that i can improve on all my scores overall but there is not one thing in particular that i am unhappy with

The fitness tests are over finally and im glad. When can i Do my mile?

I was not happy with my flexability tests. I did not complete all my tests because my schedule was changed from Mr.Long's class on Friday. In my old gym class we only ran the mile, and did push ups. In my new class I only completed the flexability tests because of my schedule change.

See you in class,

For the first question that you never got: So far, we have not done anything in PE, but that's ok. Signing forms and turning them in and the fitness testing is quite fun. I cant wait to start something active. For the most recent question: The fitness testing was a little boring and interesting to see how i compare with my fellow classmates, and i thought i did alright. I can most definitely improve my scores throughout the year and I hope most to improve on the sit and reach. I also did not think i did that well on the mile. 10 minutes is not my best time, but i hope to work on that. The pacer was a little boring and that's why i stopped but i will try my best next time. i cant wait to do the olympic track and field meet. that should be fun and i hope to get more in shape and in the healthy fitness zone. I also feel this has been a very descriptive blog entry, so if i could gain the points back that i lost, that would be tremendous. thanks and i love gym class! -Haley Skarupa

I think i pretty much did my best so im fine with what i got. mostly. I guess I just need to improve my flexability which i can do by stretching.

Xixi Zhou, over all, im pretty happy with my fitness scores. i improved a lot in my situps from 41 to 64, but i feel like i can improve more on my pushups because i think i only did 28 and i used to do 25. the pacer is different from the pacer i ran in middle school because the distance is different, but i think 41 ( i think thats wat i got, somewhere in the 40s) is pretty good. im satisfied wtih my sit and reach but im aiming for 21 inches next time. and my mile..im not so proud of because i didn't even try and was 3 minutes slower than my usual mile time; i will improve on my mile time because 10 minutes is my worse time actually and i want to aim for a 7 min mile next time.

Jean-Philippe SanGiovanni:

I'm pretty happy with my scores...
I did all right on the Mile, Pacer, Sit-Ups, and Push-Ups. I never do well on the Sit & Reach because I inherited a genetic defect that makes my muscle tendons extremely short, therefore making me exceptionally inflexible. I would like to improve my Sit & Reach score, and to do that, I'll probably have to stretch every day for around ten minutes.

All my fitness scores were relatively bad, but i wasn't expecting much. In particular, i'd like to improve on crunches.

I think I did well on all of them except for the mile and sit adn reach. For the mile I got 9 minutes and for the sit and reach, I got a 9 for both my right and left leg. I want to improve on my sit and reach and mile.

I feel like I did pretty well for my fitness test, although I would like to improve my mile time next semester. I will run for 10-15 minutes every day. Next semester I am going to strive to beat all of my scores.

I think I did pretty good in the fitness gram, but I didn't very well for my mile time and my sit and reach. For the mile I got 9 minutes and for the sit and reach I got 9s. I wish to improve by running more often and stretching.

I'm happy with my fitness scores, because i think thats the level range im supposed to be at. everyone has strengths and weaknesses, so im pretty comfortable w/ that. my upper body strength is somewhat weaker...so that directly affected my push up scores, but my strength at stamina helped contribute to my good scores at running long distances.

I dont like to slack off durring fitness. but it has also never really appealed to me, i think that next time i might try harder but im satisfied with myself right now. :)

Se Lee

i did well on most of the parts except for the mile. i have never gotten under a 6:40... so mostly i need to work on running daily. For sit and reach im very happy with my score because i got around 18..

I feel anywhere in the outfield is my best position because you can see the whole game from there and its not that difficult to catch the ball in the air. Also, i get a break when a bad batter is up or when everyone is arguing some for a good ten minutes. The position that is challenging for me is pitcher because the other team always complains when you dont throw it exactly where they want it and then they start making up rules and cheating. i dont find that very fun and it makes it challenging to focus while pitching the ball. i wish everyone could just be happy while in the striking unit.
