Period 1- Advanced Basketball
Due: October 6th
After completing the one-on-one unit, describe your strengths and weaknesses as a player. What areas do you need to improve on to be more successful on the court?
i need to improve on my inside shooting and rebounding. i also need to build endurance because i run out of breath easily. other than that im the next kobe.
i am a lay back defender. i do this because I'm afraid to get torched on a drive. i need to work on my foot work. on offense, i need to work on my dribble-penetration because i often am closed off early or i get there awkwardly and miss the easy lay-up. - Jake Summers-Berger
I think that this one-on-one unit has made me a better player. I feel that I am a strong defensive player and as some people say to me "annoying defensive player". But i really need to work on my shooting and ball handling skills. Those categories are defintly not my forte.
My strengths as a baller can be anythang i want it to be, just like anybody can. As of now, i decide that they are ball handling and mid-range shooting, therefore they must be or else i'll be yanked out da game. My weakness be thangs i neglect and fail to pay attention to. Therefore, my weakness r defense and rebounding. I can only improve those during in-game situations, where i decide to step up the intensity, as well as my shot selection. I would like my consistency in shooting to improve, though, so i think i need to go get some shots up. That is all, i had the time to write this cause i'm not busy doin slavework as an aid right now.- Scott
in one on one's i am a good defensive player but my weakness was my offense. i need to work on my outside shooting and finishing on my drives to the basket instead of rushing my shots gordie gold
i did'nt get the chance to plat the one on one turnament i know i wasn't in class most of the time when we where playing the one on one but there were time when i was in class.
I thought that my inside game was good in 1 on 1, but because I have not worked on my outside shooting a lot over the past couple months, it is definately something I could improve on.
i feel like im an ok defender and decent at driving and playing the post. but im a really bad shooter and once anyone i played figured that out they just waited for me to drive. i really need to become a better shooter.
ashkan geramfar i loved the unit 1 on 1 as a whole is great. i neeed to work on my defense. but i thinkn my ballhandling and shooting was pretty good overall

HI Mrs. Dyer its paris i liked the one on one unit i need to work on driving in the lane and practice my outside shot.
I thought that my inside game was good in 1 on 1, but because I have not worked on my outside shooting a lot over the past couple months, it is definately something I could improve on.

I sat out due to my ankle injury. my shot is pretty decent but i need to work on my drive to the basket.
i think that i need to know when to shot a jumper and when to attack to the basketball when im in a one on one situation.
