Period 2 -Team Games

Due Date: Wednesday, June 3rd

It has been a great semester in all of my classes.

For your final blog I want to know how I can be a better teacher. Please answer the following questions for your final blog.
1. What did you like most about the class?
2. What did you like least about the class?
3. How did you like the use of the blog in class?
4. What would you change to make your experience in physical education better?
5. Will you take a physical education class again?

Your response will have no implications for your final grade other than if you fail to do it, so please be honest as your responses help form what we do in the future. It has been a pleasure working with each of you this past semester. Stop in and say hi when your travels bring you by the gym.

1. I liked the variety of sports that we got to play, it was a period where I could relax and enjoy sports.

2. We often sat around waiting in the beginning of class for too long.

3. It's a unique idea that I've never seen done by any of my teachers; easy points.

4. I liked the concept of standings and leagues that you incorporated, but if it were more in-depth and we got an update on the standings every class it would seem more realistic and it would be more competitive. An incentive for the winning team would be cool as well.

5. Maybe senior year, PE is always enjoyable.

1.) I enjoyed being able to develop skills which will help me in being able to communicate better in a team setting.
2.)The least favorable aspect of the class was the lack of motivation that came with the team games which cause only a small portion of the class to be active
3.)The use of the blogs contributed in me being able to learn more in depth of the sports that we are playing in class
4.)I would like to change the infrastructure of starting games with teams, such a making the process more structured so the instructions cannot be disputed
5.)I would consider the PE class again because it provides a good time to exercise

1. I loved how you gave us the freedom to choose what games we wanted to play on rainy days and the freedom to choose which sports unit we wanted to do.
2. I didn't like the randomized teams for every unit. They were usually unfair
3. The use of blogs seemed a bit time consuming at times, but it allowed us to know the rules and strategies of the sport we were playing before we got to play it in class
4. Allow us to have team captains for each sport to pick teams, so that the sports teams will be fair.
5. I don't think so. I have to do my other credits first. Maybe in senior year.

1. What did you like most about the class? I enjoyed the beginning minutes of class the best where Jason Peng would be harassed by my peers.
2. What did you like least about the class? Tryhards like Ethan Heiburger
3. How did you like the use of the blog in class? It's aight doesn't take long but would be more enjoyable without
4. What would you change to make your experience in physical education better? Let the students choose what sport they wanted to play instead of long units
5. Will you take a physical education class again? Nah need those AP's

I liked playing ghetto ball.
I did not like the playing long base and I wish the units were shorter.
I think that the blogs are better than taking a quiz so I like them.
I wish the games were more competitive. A prize for the winning team might make the class more competitive.
I might take a physical education class again depending on my college goals.

1) I loved the fact that you got to play lots of games with your friends. Also, it was a good way to start the morning for me.

2) I didn't like how sometimes we would team up against Mr. Kirk's class. They were mostly upper class-men and were better than us in everything except long base.

3) Overall, I am not a huge fan of the blog, but I liked that it was easy points to secure my grade.

4) I would like it if we could have picked our teams, but that isn't always the best. Also, a prize for the winner would have been a little more exciting.

5) I will not likely be taking another PE class because I want to focus on academics for the next 3 years to get in to a good college.
