Team positions. A basketball team has five players that play five different postions.
1. A "1" is the point guard. This person is the best dribbler and passer. This person brings the ball down the court and has the best chance of maintaining possesion of the ball if pressure is put on.
2. A "2" is the shooting guard. This person has the best shot on the team. You want this person to shoot the ball for you the most.
3. A "3" is the small forward. This person is a pretty good at shooting and rebounding. They will cut through the lane and be a threat.
4. A "4" is the power forward. This person is a great rebounder and will spend most of the time with their back to the basket, or playing in the post. They will take close shots and look to rebound every ball
5. A "5" is the center. This person is usually the tallest person on the team and specializes in shot blocking and rebounding. On offense, they are like the power forward and play close to the basket.
Please look at your team and assign the players on your team a role or position as described. Put the number next to their name from 1-5 and put yourself last with whichever number you think you will fit into and why.

1) Me, I'm the best player in the class, best handles, and see everything so i can make the good passes.
2) Joey Roach, he shoots a lot and it goes in a lot of the time
3) Humza, he's got long arms and always hustles
4) Vincent, he plays in the paint and with his back to the basket a lot. He can shoot too so he spreads the floor
5) Elijah, he is the tallest person and is very athletic so he gets a lot of rebounds and spreads floor

2 - I see myself as a 2 because I like to shoot the ball a lot, but I also drive to the basket. I could also play 1 because I can handle the ball. I couldn't see myself playing 3, 4, or 5 as much because i am short so I wouldn't get as many rebounds.
Ben W.- 2 (Great shooter).
Ben S.- 3 or 5 (Good at cutting, lay-ups and tall).
Hansen- 3 or 4 (Good shot, rebounding).
Peter- 1 or 3 (Good ball skill/movement).
Sara- 1 or 2 (Good movement/shot)
Me- I think I can be a 1, mainly a 2 because I have a good shot and I can pass/move the ball well.

1.) I think Diontae would be best at the point, because he has by far the best handles on our team.
2.) I think Kiera would be good at the shooting guard position, because she has a good jumper and can score.
3.) Adam would be good at the small forward because he's fairly athletic and sometimes can shoot.
4.) Naveen would do well as the power forward, beause he is big and can rebound well.
5.) Evan would do best as the center, because he is the tallest player and can block and rebound, but can also score well.
-I think I would do best as a small forward, because I can score, pass, rebound, and defend fairly well, but I'm not the best at any one thing. Because I'm good all-around, I would do best at the 3.

3. Tayyaba, because she cuts to the basket well and gets easy points that help our team.
4. Humza, because he can get rebounds and second chance points for us.
5. Elijah, because he gets a lot of rebounds for our team and he is a good shot blocker.

3. Ben because he has a great outside jumper but can also drive and is big enough to get rebounds.
4. Hansen because he can get rebounds. He is a stretch 4 though because he can shoot jumpers as well.
5. Evan is our center because he is the tallest on the team and get rebounds. On offense he always drives and gets close up shots.
I am probably a PG (1) because I have good dribbling and have good court vision to make passes.

3) Ashwin, he's a good team player who likes to hustle.
4)Humza, he isn't the tallest player but is comfortable playing anywhere, even in the paint if necessary, has a good shot.
5) Elijah, he is the tallest person on the team and is crazy athletic, helping him get a lot of blocks and rebounds.

1. Eric Lee; he is an exceptional ball-handler who doesn't lose the ball easily. Sheri is also included.
2. Ben Burger; making three-pointers all the time.
3. Ryad Malti or Vincent Zhan; both decent shooters and rebounders.
4. Me; I can get rebounds, but I have no hops and I can't block shots. I usually go up to the basket and wait for a pass.
5. Isaiah; exceptional shot-blocker and rebounder. He's got the hops and if he gets the rebound, he will easily make a lay-up.

I would consider myself a 3 or 4 because I can shoot and also get rebounds. On offense I cut to the basket to score easily. I am also one of the tallest players on my team.
1) Nicky (good ball handling and makes good passing decisions)
2) Joey ( has a great shot and has a large shooting range)
3) Humza gets alot of rebounds and can jump high but not high enough to get a block
4) Tayyaba although im pretty short i tend to stay near the block and i get alot of shots off their because no one guards me there but i will occasionally take outside shots but not alot because we use a guys ball in class
5) Elijah gets tons of blocks and usually tries to drive. Also gets a ton of rebounds
