Period 3 General PE
Due Date: Monday, October 26th
Based on the different invasion games you are learning and participating in during this quarter, what are similarities between the sports we have done?
The two invasion games, football and ultimate frisbee, have quite a few similarities. Both involve mainting possession as a way to win the game. They also need a diverse skill set among their players in order to move the ball (or frisbee) around to each player to make their strategy less predictable. For example, while Pagemon isn't the best choice for a quarterback, our team thought it would be a great idea to put him out there to have the defense wondering "what the heck are these guys thinking?" and before they know it, PASS IN THE ENDZONE right to dorothy fan!

The similarities between these games are that you need to invade(or score a touchdown) in there area(or endzone) and you have to defend everyone and try to get points for your team.
Jason Choi- Ultimate Frisbee and flag football are both invasion games. In these games it is important to have a good defense and to keep possesion of the frisbee or ball.

Pagemon Ghias- All the sports that we have done has included participation and equal team effort by each member. Defense and offense needs to have 110% of effort also in order to win. these are all team games. Alternate Frisbee needed all of the same efforts and concepts as football.
Austin Tritto The invasion sprots we have done are ultimate frizbee and football. They are similar because in both sports you must invade the other teams end-zone. Also, keeping possesion is very important in both sports. The dolar menu crused to the top and was on its way to a super bowl championship untill another conteneder emerged. As Mooney's team marched down the field Zolet rain from the stands to create a pick. This costed the dolar menu the game and was the final desicion is super bowl 57
The similarity between all of the invasion games that we have played is that in all of the games we have to score by driving into the other team's goaline/endzone and we have to stop the other team from coming into ours.
The similarities between frisbee and football are that they both involve catching the ball in a end zone in order to score. Also, you have to maintiain possession of the ball in both games and defend the goal line.
So far, we have done flag football and Ultimate Frisbee. These sports are similar since they both require teamwork and strategies. Teams are trying to score by getting the ball into the end zone. Also, teams are trying to prevent the other team from scoring. They both also require passing in the game.
Both ultimate frisbee and flag football have the same objective to score in the other team's endzone. You need plays or diversions to score and you have like a quarterback or a thrower for both of the games.
Football and ultimte frisbee are to sports in which you have to score and the ball (or frisbee) cannot go outside the edline otherwise its either a down or the other teams possession. They are both passing gamess, also.
Both invasion games - football and ultimate frisbee - are pretty much alike. In order to move down the field, you have to be moving all the time to catch a pass in football or efficiently move the frisbee down the field.
It's not all about offense though as you need to guard somebody or else all the points you score will be in vain.
To sum it up -
you need to be moving at all times in order for your team to be efficient and really good.
On defense, you need to be moving to cover somebody so they don't score points on you.

Kevin Mooney The two invasion games we have done are ulitmate frisbee and football. In both Ultimate frisbee and football it is neccesary to maintain possession. Also spreading the ball (or frisbee) around is important so its harder to stop the offense. On defense it is important to play tight coverage so it harder to complete passes. Ultimate frisbee and football are two very similar sports..
Ultimate frisbee and football are two invasion games tht are very similar. In frisbee and in football, you have to toss/throw an object to score. You have to move, get to open space, and do anything that is legal to score. In football and frisbee you have to play defense too. People have to spread out, cover open people, and make sure that people that are covered dont get open.
Kurt Vetrano In the class "General Phys ED", Taught by Mrs. Dyer, we have played two different, and yet similar in many ways, sports. The first sport is Football(not to be confused with Futbol, which is what the English call what we calll soccer.) In Football, Two teams compete to try and score Touchdowns. A touchdown is scored when the offensive team brings the ball past the goal line(also called an endzone.) This trate is also seen in Ultimate Frisbee, where the offensive team must pass the Frisbees past the goalline to score a touchdown. In both sports, there is one team on offense, and one team on defense. In football, the offensive team most offten passes the ball. This can be both advantagous and disadvantagous, as the defensive team has the oppertunity to intercept the ball and appetmp to score a touchdown. In Ultimate Frisbee, The offensive team cannot even run with the Frisbee, so they are forced to pass, and the defensive team has the oppertunity to intercept it.
will quackenbush- two invasion games we have played that are alike are football and ultimate frisbee. in both sports the objective is to pass the ball/frisbee down the field and past the goal line to score. which ever team scores the most points by the end of the game wins.
Flag Football and ultimate frisbee are similar because their both invastion games. both sports is where you need to pass to your team mates and keep possession.
Nicholas Chung-Football and frissbee are very similar sports for they are largley based on possesion. Whoever holds the ball or frisbee most of time controls the game because you can't score without it. Other then that, you really just need the set of basic set of skills. (catching, running, not freaking out when there's an interception.)

Ultiimate frisbee is like football becuase they both require an organized offense and defense in order to do well in the sport as a team. Also, in both of these sports, each individual has to do their job correctly and play their part in order for a team win.
Our two invasion games, firsbie and football have many common goals and skls nedded to win a game. In both games a team must able to attack the endzone but also be able to defend there own. In both a skill of throwing and catching is defintly needed, as both games pass movment is key. Also the ability to move of the ball is critical to open up space for others and to check into another space.
Football and ultimate frisbee have many similarities. For example, there are touchdowns in both and that is how the majority of the points are scored. Also, you can throw or run the ball/ frisbee.

To win in both flag football and ultimate frisbee your team must be cooperative. Also both sports involve passing and catching.
