Based on the different invasion games you are learning and participating in during this quarter what are similarities between the sports we have done?

Invasion games we are learning are similar to sports we have played because in Ultimate Frisbee, one had to block another and also intercept the a pass to reclaim possession. Also in Flag Football, one has to block a player from the opposite player in order to prevent the other team from scoring. This is very similar to Ultimate Frisbee and what we have learned.

Will Billingsley,
With both football and Ultimate frisbee, all members of the team have to track back and defend and play offense. Both sports require insicive passing and good positioning too.

* please ignore previous one

The similarities would be that the all games are team game, all team members must participate in order to win. Need to have proper defense line and offense line, etc... These are the similarities of the invasion games that we've played so far.

There are many similatities between the two sports we have played; ultimate frisbee and football. One simalarity between these two invasion games is that they both require teamwork. Another similarity is that they both have end zones as a sort of goal. Ultimate frisbee is played much like football except with a frisbee. Also, in Ultimate frisbee there is no traveling while in football there is.

Just like ultimate frisbee, we passed the ball to teammates and try to get into the opposing side into the goal line. In flag football we scored by "invading" into a the opposing teams goal line. The simlarities are that we must pass the ball(frisbee) to teammates and score by invading the goal.

all these sports are kind of like keep away and they all have a main goal, and something that everyone wants to get...aka. the ball, frisbee, etc.

In all of the invasion games that we played, we had to play offense and defense. We had to keep possession during the game to score for all the invasion games that we played.

Some similarities are that they are team sports that require both offense and defense. Also in all the sports it is better to have possesion of the ball and that teamwork is needed.

There are many things that are similar because in a invasion game you would always want to defend the goal line and defend the other teammates from the goal line. Also, for like football its almost the same idea like defending the other players from scoring and the goal line. The invasion games are helpful to because they both invovle the whole team to be focused in the game.

In football we had to maintain posession of the ball and same with untimate frizbee. IN both sports we also had to defend the goal line so the opposing team doesn't score.

In both frisbee and football, the teams need to get into the touchdown area to score. Also, if you drop the frisbee/ball there is a consequence, wether it is the other teams ball or another down

all of the games we have played so far have had a goal line, an end zone, and defense. Maintaining possession and playing defense have been the key to winning in invasion games.

All of these games involve two teams, working for the goal at the opposite end of the field. the roles of players change as the game continues; if your on offense, your trying to get to the goal, and if your on defense, your trying to keep the other team from scoring.

In all the sports we have played this year, require for the team to have a strategy to receive possession of the ball or the frisbee or to maintain possession. You to mark all the open players, spread out, or move to become open.

Mait Baldwin,
Invasion games we are learning are very similar. For example Football you have to stay on a opposoing player to make sure he/she doesn't get the ball and/or frisbee for ultimate frisbee. Another similarity is you have to play defense and offense.

Both in ultimate frisbee and flag football maintaining possessoin was very important, also all membrs had to participate to win. Keeping the opponents from scoring was also a key factor.

The similarities between the sports we have done so far which are ultimate frisbee, flag football, and kickball are that defense is just as important as offense and vise versa. When having a strong defense but a weak offense your team wont be able to score, and when having a strong offense and a weak defense your team will always be scored on. Also when your team is on defense in all of these games your as a player is always guarding someone. For example in football when you dont have possession of the ball you are always guarding a player on the opposing team.

In ultimate frisbee and flag football, the team you are in has to work together to maintain possession and keep the opposing team from scoring.

Flag football and frisbee are both team games and require the players to be offensive and defensive. also it was important in each game to keep possession in both games.

In both ultimate frisbee and football teamwork is needed. Every player has to be involved in oder for a team to win. Also, every team member has to play both defense and offense. Lastly, in both games there is an end zone which is sort of like a goal.

The invasion game we had played this quarter is Ultimate Frisbee, and football. There are many similarities between these two sports, for example they all have 2 endzones, and you have to get to endzone with possesion of the frisbee or the football to score the points on the other team. The two games require you to get open to score and also to block the other members on the other team.

There are many similarities in the invasion games we have done. Flag Football and Ultimate Frisbee involve getting an object into the other person's area. Also, both games require knowledge of the other team's players so a good strategy may be developed.

Erik Wallace,
In the we are learning are like the other sports ultimate frisby, and flag football because you need to keep possesion to score and if you don't have possesion then you can't score.

Kyle MacIntyre said...

Well in most of the invasion games we have played so far this year in order to score one team needs to have control of a ball/Frisbee in the other teams territory/end zone. Also in order to regain possession on defense you need to decline the other teams progress towards your end zone by swatting or intercepting the said object.

the invasion games we have played like football and frissbee where it is getting a goal. in the invasion games getting to a goal is nessisary to win and get points but in baseball and kickball it is running to get to a home plate in a circle

Petros said...

We played ultimate frisbee and flag football, both of which are invasion games. Both of them required us to defend the goal line and work as a team in order to pass to each other successfully. flag football played a lot like ultimate frisbee, only using different objects and trowing styles

In the invasion games that we are learning, both offense and defense is required. Also, we had to keep the possesion of the ball/frisbee in order to score the goal. Lastly, in both games, every player has an oppurtunity to participate.

we have played both ultimate frisbee and football. In both of thesesports the goal was to use teamwork, pass the object, and invade the side in order to get to the end zone and score

Sandra Kuo said...

Ultimate Frisbee and Flag football both require teamwork and the ability to maintain possession.

joe kelly- in all of our invasion games that weve played there has been an object or a person who must carrie the ball or reach an area to get the points that are needed to win

Some similarities between the sports we have done are that they are all contact sports that involve maintaining possession of the ball in order to win the games.

for both flag football and ultimate frisbee, you have to intercept the ball/frisbee to get it back from the other team. also, in flag football you have to pass off the ball and work with each other to score. you can't just have two people doing all the work, as well as in frisbee. you need to make sure that the other teams are gaurded and that they cannot get to the ball/frisbee.

All the sports that we played so far has one thing and only one thing in comment, which is the teamwork. Need to defend the goal line.
