Period 2 Basketball

Due Date : Monday, October 26th

We are currently in our 2 on 2 unit. At the beginning of this unit we spent several days working on post moves and focusing on a post-wing game. Based on what you have learned, how is your team's post game during game play? Do you think this is affecting your win/loss record? Why?

our post game for our 2 0n 2 team has increased our gameplay and helps us win.

Me and my partner have been using the post game a lot especially since no one can stop me in the post. It is not effecting our record right now ,but it will later if my team is having a off day.

My team's post game during game play is good. Brett goes in the post and uses the up and under move or kicks it out to me for the 3. It is helping because were undefeated and we are unstoppable.

Kyle Weissenburger,
My teams post game has really excelled and because of that we are undefeated. I think the biggest part of our success is that we have had mismatches like when my teammate is taller than another opponent. We have had a lot of points scored in the paint and have used the drop step efficiently.

our post play isnt really working. We dont really have a big man so no i dont think it will improve our win/loss

My team does not have an effective post game. This is affecting our record because my team is taking mostly low percentage shots. If we had a post game, then we would take higher percentage shots and win more games.

Our teams post game is doing fine. It definitely affects our win/loss record because if you cant score points in the paint, then it would be harder to score points outside, and to win the game.

Are post game is amazing because i have david J. on my team and i just feed him downlow constantly. And if David gets doubled, hell just kick it out to me for an open J. -Arash A

I think the reason why me and Josh haven't been successful as a 2 on 2 team is because we can't get our post game going plus I've been sick so I haven't been at school. This is mostly my fault since I'm supposed to be in the post. But, I've been lazy and I've just rushing shots instead of taking my time in the post. If i start using some post moves, I can score more points or I can draw the double team and just kick it out to Josh for an uncontested shot. This was we can start winning some games.

are post game is no highly effective because we both are not that good at it. it can efect are game at times but we have managed with out it. we both are not very tall this is why we cant post up very well

My team is good at posting up
during 2 on 2 games. When my team lost we didnt establish a post game therefore we were forced to take jumpshots. Everytime we won however we were able to pass it to the post man for an easy shot.

Dale and I seem to have pretty decent post moves and our team work is good which is the reason why we have won so many games. If we can just work on them more and perfect them, I believe that our gameplay will dramatically increase, thus allowing us to have a higher chance of winning our games.

Having a good post game is essential to success. A team's offensive gameplay benefits from this strategy. Our team does well from this half of the time.

my team's post play has improved, but our record has not changed much, but with more practice we'll win more games

My teams post play isn't very good. We both aren't post players, so its been difficult for us to establish a good post game. I think this is the main reason why our team has only won a few games. When we do establish a post game though, we usually win.

Our post game is too nice. Kevin in the post is unstoppable. Especially with the kickout for the three. Although our record doesnt show it we have the best stragy in the class.

My partner and I do not do anything with the post. He either takes it in for a layup or passes it out. This had led to the best record in the class

Our post game is affecting our win loss record. I go in the post and either do an up and under or kick it out to Greg fr a three. We play very well in the post.

My team does not use any of the post moves very often, which is affecting our teams record. I think once we start uses post moves more often our record will improve.

On my 2 on 2 team, we use post plays rarely. However, they seem to pay off in last second situations, helping us win by one basket at the very end.

My team has really excelled and
because of that we are undefeated. I think the biggest part of our success is that we never have acutally played 1 game. We havent lost because we have elimnated the essence of acutally playing.
