in our unit of feilding and striking, i beleive the easiest position i played was second base. the most challenging position i played was second base. (i only played second base)

I think i was best at running the bases I did not do well with batting, because i would either hit the ball too short or someone would catch it. I was not good at first base so then was the catcher. The catcher position was better for me because i knew if the ball would be coming to me. It was easier for me because i was short

Matt Kehr - I feel that I performed best at third base because i could make the throw from third to first without trouble. I feel that i preformed the worst at pitcher because to be honest, I sucked. I couldnt do the underhand pitch so i gave up. Well I have played baseball before, so i can throw the ball hard enough to get the runner out on the throw.

Esteban Lopez-

I think i performed best at first base because i can catch the ball well. I think the most challenging position for me is outfield because i can't throw far and can't get it back to the pitcher quickly. I am good at catching the ball and getting to the base quickly which is why i think im good at first base.

i was best at shortstop between 1st and 2nd base because i was good at catching and throwing the ball to wherever it needed to go.i was not good at being first base because it was too much pressure and it was hard to catch the ball and keep your foot on the base at the same time.

I actually preferred being up at the bat instead of being out in the field because it involved more action.
I felt that the position at 3rd base best suited me. The ball did not come to 3rd base first or as often and therefore you were not relied on too heavily to catch it. When the ball did come, though, it was easy to catch because most times it was a ground ball. However, when there was high ball, my long arms came as an advantage. This position was the best for me because I am definitely not a consistent catcher.
I think 2nd base would have been challenging for me because I would have had to be more familiar with the rules of kickball and softball and react more quickly and in order to get the runner of the opposing team out.

Abhishek Singh-

I felt that I performed mediocre to decent on second base. I am probably one of the worst hitters to play the sport only getting to base well. I played ok at shortstop because I could make some catches and get double outs.

I think that I performed best at second base. I think that it didn't involve a lot of running (I'm not too fast!) and I have fairly good catching skills so I could catch the ball when it was thrown to me. I really enjoyed this position as I got to see the whole game, and because second base is not as stressful ( I think) as the other bases, I could really think about what was going on and what my team could do better.

i think i was best at hitting and second base. i think the most difficult part for me was pitching because i was not very good.

I think the most challenging position was in the outfield because it was hard to concentrate on catching the ball with others trying to do the same thing. I think it was easier to bat because all you had to concentrate on was hitting the ball and then running. I can perform better when I only have to concentrate on one thing.

I was best at batting because I managed to hit the ball most of the time and I'm okay at running. I'm not very good at catching or throwing so field positions were not my strong point.

In our unit of fielding and striking i think my best position is being the short stop because most of the pop flys went there and i caught most of them which helped my team. Also my worst position in fielding and striking was probably outfield because the ball went out to fast.

Pagemon Ghias,
uring this unit i belive i played 1st base and batting the best, this is because i can hit the ball hard and catch well. running was not as successful for me because i am not as fast as i should and could be.

in our fielding and stricking unit, I think i did really well with pitching but i was pretty awful at batting because most of the time i hit te ceiling or missed it. I feel i did well with batting because most of the time the batters fund it difficult to hit the ball

i think i did best at running the bases because the ball rarely came to me while in the outfield. I think having to hit the ball, because i didnt usually actually it it. i think it helped me that i could catch.

I felt I did best at third base. Since I could catch and throw, it was easy for me to either catch the ball in the air or quickly throw it to first base. The most challenging position was left field because that was the only other position I played.

I think I better at hitting the ball than catching it. I was best at playing shortstop because I could throw the ball to second or third base easily. I was not good at first base because I can't catch the ball fast enough and get back to the base before the runner comes.

nicholas chung-
i liked batting the best, not really becuase i was good at it but because for catching the bouncy, or wiffle ball, i was incosistent and kept missing easy catches. it was really annoying. i was ok at batting cause as long as i hit the ball without someone (like gabe) catching it, i could ussually sprint to second base. Cause i'm fast. And i have boosties. Heh heh.

Mrs Dyer sorry i read the wrong question.

Austin chipotle hersh says...... i think i played pitcher best because barely any kids got hits off of me. Hitting the ball was pretty challenging for me this time but i just dont know why. MAybve i was trying to swing too hard. i feel that i am very "intimidating" so it is best for me to be staring at the batter.

Austin Hersh 2nd post. first one was wrong, sorry

During the fielding and striking unit, I believe I played first base the best because I am able to catch the ball well even under pressure. i think batting was most challenging to me because I rarely ever bat and im not accustomed to it.

I think i was best at hitting (even though people kept catching the ball that I hit). The most challenging position for me was 1st base because i wasn't very good at catching the balls.

i think i was best at playing 1st catcher along with goureesh as my back up because i caught a few foul balls which were important for our game. i did bad at 3rd baseman because the ball never came near me so i couldnt get people out even though i played for one game

Austin Tirtto- I feel like a played outstanding at every position, but i fi had to pick my best it would be outfield. I could get under and catch the ball with ease. I also play left field for baseball and that helped a lot. My worst position would be pitcher. I suck at throwing the ball under hand at a good height and at the right distace.

Jason Choi- I feel that i perform best as an outfielder. I have very good hand eye coordination so i am good at catching fly balls. I find that the most challenging position is pitcher because if you do not throw the ball correctly you could give the other team a free walk.

I believe that i did best as a catcher because I was able to catch the ball quickly, and throw it on the opponent with success. I believe that the most challenging position was outfield (although I played there once)because you have to be exactly where the ball lands.

I did best in the outfeild because i caught alomst everything that came my way. it was also the most challenging because i had trouble catching grounders.

In our unit of fielding and striking, I believe I did best at running the bases and being the pitcher. I could most always serve a good pitch to the batter. I was not very good at batting because I would usually hit it too short or in the air for someone to easily catch it, but I was good at running the bases because I could run fast to the next base most of the time without getting tagged out.

Kevin Mooney-
My best position was short stop because a lot of balls are hit in that directions and i was able to make a lot of plays. I was also very comfortable hitting the ball

Daniel Zolet
2ND or 1st because i am able to cach and throw well. 3rd base was hard because i hed to throw across my body, being a lefty. This also lends me to 1st

Ross Davis- I think that I played best at catcher because when ever someone threw the ball home for me to make a play I always got the person out. The most challenging position was pitcher because whenever I would pitch the ball, someone would hit off of it. I have played catcher in baseball before so I already knew how to play the position and also I was able to throw the ball back to the pitcher and anyone else fast and accurately, arm strength and accuracy.

The position that was the hardest for me was outfield, because it was challenging for me to catch fly balls. The position I was the most successful at and had the best physical attributes at was pitcher, because I have good aim.

In the unit of Fielding and Striking the position that was best for me was the pitcher. The position that was hard for me was the right adn left out field because i would sometimes have to run far.

Anonymous said...

in this unit i think the most challenging position was right feild as there was some confusion over how many people should be out in that position. The easyest for me was pitcher

I performed best at third base because I have quick hands and I can field well. The position most challenging was probably centerfield because you have to get the ball back in really quick to the infield to get the guy out before something bad happens.

As I stated before, I have quick hands and I've played baseball before, so I have enough arm strength to fire it 1st base really quick.

Sorry Mrs. Dyer that it was late, my internet just got fixed. My best position was catcher because i got many people out who thought they could score, and i stopped the ball from getting passed me on the pitch. I was also a very productive hitter.

I think i was best at outfield because i was good at getting to the ball and catching high-flying balls. I think i was bad at first base because im not good at catching line drivers.

I felt that i was good at running the bases because it is hard to stop me and due to my size and speed (physical attributes) it gets intimidating stopping a big boy like me. I also felt i was good at the catcher position because I helped the team a lot at the clutch moments. I found that playing outfield was hard for me because i am not good under pressure (irritable bowel syndrome)
