Based on the different invasion games you are learning and participating in during this quarter what are similarities between the sports we have done?

Carlos Marrero - Football and Ultimate frisbee both need to make goals on the opposing team by taking either the football or frisbee to the endzone of the opposing team.
The similarities between the sports we played in the class is that we have to invade the opposite teams goal line to earn a score. Also, it is all about maintaining possession for easy score and defending the goal line.
Josh lee- the simularities between the invasion games are the tactics. You must try to maintain posesion of the ball and push forward in order to score, while defending your goal post by blocking or intercepting
haha i'm usually the last person to do these but i decided i would do this earlier now!
The similarities in all of the invasion games that we have recently played, is that they all have possession in them because that is basically what an invasion game is. Also all of the recent games there have been an offensive and defensive team. In football the offensive team has to score a touchdown.
Andy Bakovic Ultimate frisbee and football have many similarities that are overlooked like the basics. The basics are to reach the other teams end zone and to defend your own. The other basic skill that is needed is to maintain possession or try to achieve possession so that there are more chances to score. Tight defense is also needed in both of the sports we have done so far. Tight defense is need so that the other does not have a greater chance of scoring. I didn't forget to post a blog this time!!!!!!
James Hurst Some similarities between the games we have played are that they are all team sports. also for each one you pass the ball/object to a teammate and try to get it in the endzone/goal. lastly there is another team that is trying to stop you from scoring.
Brandon Fink - Ultimate Frisbee and Football have a lot in common because of many reasons. Both sports have one team on offense, and one team on defense at any given point. Also, if the opposing team intercepts a pass, it is their ball or frisbee. Lastly, both sports require moving to open space so that you can catch the ball or frisbee.
football and ultimate Frisbee have many similarities. For example they are both hand on sports, also can intercept passes. another example would be they both score goals in the end zone, and for both you need to defend to succeed.
Stephen Chan, Based on the amounts of different invasion games that I have learned this quarter, I have seen that frisbee and football both need a endzone for the frisbee/football. Also you need to throw off the frissbee at every point, which is the same for football too.

Zach Reiswig some similarities between the two invasion games we have participated in this quarter are... - protect the goal line to prevent the other team from scoring - you must pass the opposing teams goal line to score - always try to maintain posession of the ball/frisbee - if you are the person without posession of the ball/frisbee and on the same team as the person with the ball/frisbee, keep your feet moving to open spaces for good passing opportunities (provide support for your teammate)
Andrew SyBing- Some of the similarities of flag football and ultimate frisbee are being able to pass the ball/frisbee, defending the goal line, and marking the oppsing players.
There are a ton of similarities between ultimate Frisbee and football. For example you need to keep possession of the frisbee/football in both of the games in order to win. Another thing is that if you don't have defense the other team can score easily. You also need good offense or you can't score, therefore. you can't win, only tie or loose. -Becca Edelman

While defending the main goal is to try to guard all opposing team members and attempt to intercept the ball.
Some similarities between the sports that we have been participating in during the last week are teamwork and offence and defense strategies. for example in football we make a different offence play each time to score and in Frisbee we had teamwork by passing the Frisbee to are team mates to score.This unit has been fun currently.

Cara Lwin The similarities between ultimate frisbee and flag football are that you have to try and score when you are on offense by passing and sometimes running, and try to guard the players on the other team to keep them from scoring when you are on defense.
Palina Ivanova- haha i almost forgot about this!! anyways.... some sports that we played in class are football and ultimate Frisbee and they both have many similarities. For instance, in both games you can intercept a pass, in both games you score goals in the end zone,both games you need to be defense and offense depending on whose possesion the ball or frisbee is in.

josh weintraub, in ultimate frisbee and football we needed to score on our opposing team by scoring touchdowns and defend the goal line. in softball and kickball they are both striking games where you need to hit or kick the ball and you play on a field in all of the games.
Andrew Craig: some similarities are that in both games there are two teams trying to score on the other team in order to win the game. To move the football/frisbee you are able to pass it to other teamates to move closer to the others endzone and score.

Invasion games are similar in a yard progression system. By taking the ball/disk forward you make progress twords an end zone to score points.
