Maintaining possession of the ball (frisbee) is very important because once you do that, you have a chance to score. Having one person stay behind at your own goal line is good too because you then have a defence player. So maintaining possession of the frisbee can allow 3-4 people on your team to advance forward to the goal so you can score.

Another sport in which maintaining possession of the ball and defending the goal line is important is in soccer. In soccer, similar the ultimate frisbee, maintaining possession of the ball gives you more chance to score, and defence is also very important.

With these 2 things to do in these kind of sports, you can be a winner when you maintain possession of the ball and when you defend your goal line.

It is important to maintain possession so one can complete the play easily. Defending the goal line is must because it makes the opposite team work harder in getting the point or past the goal line. Another sport like this would be hand ball.

Mainting possetion is important because with it you can move it around and exploit the defense and score. Defending is obviously important because if you dont they will score. It's a lot like soccer. If everyone does not participate in defending and attacking then that team will lose.

In ultimate frisbee maintaining possession allows one team to have more chances of scoring and going down the field to the oppenent's side. Defending the goal line will help make sure your team can stop the oppenent from scoring. These concepts also apply to soccer.

In an invasion game, keeping possession is very important because you have to keep possession to score. while playing ultimate frizbee i noticed that short passes like the give and go were very effective. Also you have to defend your goal to stop the opponent from scoring.
One example of an invasion game is Soccer. The most important thing about soccer is to maintain possession, because without possession you can't score. Defence is also importatn becasue you have to defend you goal to win.

Another invasion game is basketball. A team has to maintain posesion to score points and avoid the other team from scoring. Defending the goal line is also important because it will prevent the other team from scoring points.

It is important to maintain possession and defend the goal line because you don't want to give the other team an oppurtunity to score. Just like in soccer, you make short, quick passes to keep possesion

These concepts are important for any team to be sucessful because if the goal line is not protected, the other team could steal the frisbee at anymoment and score. Also, maintaining possession is important to score and prevent the other team from scoring. Another invasion game is soccer, where both of these concepts are important in this game. If there is no defence, the offence of the other team can score easily if one team member makes a bad play. Also, maintaining possession is important because passing down the field is required to get a goal.

Maintaining possesion of the frisbee is very important because you can score if you have it but if you don't then you can't score. Defending the goal is also very important for those times that you don't have the frisbee so that the other team doesn't score.

it is important to defend the goal line and maintain possession because you don't want the other team to score or to intercept the frisbee. this would also be true in football. NOT THE BRITISH VERSION.

I think keeping possession is important because it frustrates the other team and spreads them apart. It makes them tired and easy to play through. Goal line defense is important because if you don't concede points then you have a better chance of winning.

These are important bcause by maintaning possecsion of the fresbee allows the team to have a better chance of scoring and defending the goal line to prevent the other team from scoring. This is alot like football

It is important to maintain possession and defend the goal line because if you have the frisbee the whole time, than you can score a goal and if you are not defending the goal line the other team will score. Some other games that have these concepts are soccer, basketball, and various other sports.

If the team don't maintain the possession, the team will barely have a chance to receive frisbee and if the team don't defend the goal line, obviously opposing team will keep score. Another invasion game would be the ball games such as basketball, soccer, etc...

It is very important to maintain possession during ultimate frisbee, because if u do not then you cannot score on the other team. and defending the goal line is also very important, because if you do not then you are just giving free point for the other team. These concepts are very important to my team because they help my team to score againt the opposite team, and prevent the other team from scoring against us. Another invason game where these concepts would be applicabe is basketball.

By maintaining possession and defending the goal line, the team is able to cooperate and to succeed. This concept also applies to flag football.

Soccer uses the same concepts as ultimate frisbee because you work together to defend the goal and keep people from the other team from scoring by blocking and passing.

Maintaining possesion of the frisbee was important because it allowed us to be able to move toward the goal line and score, while defending the goal line is also important in the case that if the other team is in possession of the frisbee, the team can block them from scoring and can be able to take possession of the frisbee from the team trying to score.

Another invasion game where these concepts would be applicable would be soccer, football, etc.

It is important to maintain possesion of the frisbee because if the team does not have access to it then the can not score. It is also important to defend the goal lines because the opposing team will not be able to score if you are playing a good defense. Other sports were this is usefull is football and basketball

It is important to maintain possession because it allows to remain on offense and score.
Flag football is another invasion game where defending the goal line is important.

During the ultimate frisbee unit maintaining possession and defending the goal line is very inportant because you always need to maintain possession so you will always know what you are doing. Also, defending the goal line is very impportant so you will understand everything and pay attention during especially a invasion game.

During the ultimate frisbee unit we played a series of games. In these games we have to be able to keep procession of the frisbee and be able to defend our goal line when we lose possession. It is very important to spread the players around the field and give them specific positions. For example it might be a wise idea to have 2 players remain on the goal line and stay more defensive and have 3 players play more on the offensive side to be able to take and keep possession consistently and possibly score. Also in another invasion game, soccer, players use the same system of approach to be able to keep possession of the ball and when possession is lost they try and gain it back with their more defensive players. Keeping a number of players back on defense and by keeping a number of players on offense both in soccer and ultimate frisbee the team is able to be very successful.

It is also important to gaurd the goal lines so the other team does not score. if no one is open on the other team they will have to make throws that aren't successful.

Maintaining possession of the Frisbee is important because it allows you to do things like passing, moving up the field, and scoring. Defending the goal line is important because it keeps the other team from scoring and gives you the chance to obtain the Frisbee. You could apply the concepts to soccer, football, basketball, handball, and rugby.

In Frisbee maintaining possessions is the most important thing you need to to do if you want to win the games. By doing this each person finds out on what he or she is good at and the team becomes stronger.

maintaining possesion in ultimate frissbee is very important because with out having possession there is no way you can score, and if you dont have the ball it means the other team has the ball and they7 have am oppertunity to score. thats where the concept of protecting th e goal comes in. if you do not protect the goal all the other team has to do is move the ball down ther fieldf with ease, there fore they will score everytime, therefore you will lose the game -joe kelly

The more you have possesion of the frisby the more the other team has to play defense and so they can't score while your team the offense can score points to help win the game. Another sport where maintaining possesion is improtant is in football because when the opponents offense never gets the ball then the defense gets tired and allowing the offense to score more points on them.

maintaining possession of the ball is very important to ensure that you can score and so the other team can't. when the other team throws it off to you, your team should make quick, short zig-zag passes to get the frisbee to the goal line. this type of passing throws off the defence and increases your chances of maintaining possession of the frisbee for a goal.

Maintaining posession is important because it allows a team to keep control as well as confuse the defense, allowing for a score opportunity. Defending the goal line is important because it prevents the the opponent from scoring. Another sport that is similar to ultimate frisbee and requires these 2 concepts is soccer.
