I think it is crucial that you can read the defense because if you can read the defense it will create better opportunities for you. For example if you curl off a screen when you were supposed to fade you would still have a defender on you. The way you know if you fade or curl is to read the defense. If you do the correct thing you will most likely have space. Our team does not set screens that often.
