Period 4- Basketball

Due Date: Wednesday, April 1stIn class we are just starting our 3 on 3 unit. A critical part of this unit is going to be setting screens and reading the defense. Please watch the video below and answer the following questions. Each question is worth 2 points. Please make sure to write your name on your Blog.  



1. When you set a screen, do you set the screen on a person or an area?

2. What are 3 things the offensive player can do when they are being screened?

3. When should you curl off of a screen?

4. What is the most important thing to do when coming off a screen?

5. How frequently is your team using screens during your game play? Have they been effective for your team?

1.)We screen a area so it is on the same place every time, also to prevent a foul

5. To be completely honest,we rarely use screens. Last game they were effective and they led to an open shot for me to take the game winning three pointer.But we look to use them more often as the season goes on.

5.we use the screen like 4-5 times per game. It makes my partner shot or cross easier.
