We are getting ready to start our basketball 3 on 3 unit. Based on your own basketball experiences, as well as what you have learned so far in class, what are three strengths that your 3 on 3 team must possess to be successful? Why?

Ray Lu:
1) we have to pass the ball a lot, because if we keep passing the ball the, defender might have some mistake to play defense, which we can pass the ball to the person who's open and make a wide open shot or layup.
2) we got be careful about the shots, we try to make as many shots as possible and shoot at good time and good position.
3) we have to use some good cuts and good picks which will give my teammates more open space and shoot more comfortable.
The 3 strengths my team has to possess is high basketball iq, ability to pass efficiently, and movement.

Your 3 on 3 team must be athletic, tall, and in shape to be successful because there are a lot of competitive teams so you you have to be the best of the best and you have to be in shape also athletic and tall to be a successful team.
1. We have to share the ball well.
2. We have to be spaced effectively and have good movement on offense.
3. We have to defend well.

in my 3 on 3 experience, i find that defense is the most important factor when it comes to being successful in the unit. Without good defense it makes it easy for the other team to score, and makes it hard for your team to come back.

Our 3 on 3 team will need to be able to communicate well, pass the ball, and crash the boards for rebounds. These three things are essential because without good communication, passing, and rebounding we will not be able to get open shots and win.
1.) We have to have good ball movement to get an open shot
2.) We should do pick and rolls to have different scoring options
3.) We have to play good defense to get the ball back and score

I found that the good communication between the players are a crucial in the success of a 3v3 basketball game. Also I noticed that not having a strong dependency on one player can create too heavy of a reliance on the success of the game depending on that one player. Finally, mobility also assists in the being able to suppresses the defense.

There are multiple things for my 3 on 3 team is be successful, but these three are the most important:
1. Communicating with teammates
2. Knowing our strengths and what we're lacking
3. Not hogging the ball, seeking all the attention will only lead to a loss.
Make sure to pass
1)we should pass the ball more
2)we should make good movement
3)we should get more rebounds
4)defaence hard

1) movement-the more movement we have the more opportunities we will have.
2) passing-this will most likely happen if we have movement. however, the more good passes we have the easier it is to break the defense and score.
3)ability to score-we cannot have great opportunities all the time yet still not score. the main goal of basketball is to score.

It is important that there is good team Chemistry which includes communication. We must also be able to rely on each other to carry equal weight for the team. The most important thing to have is respect for each other, because that can be a key factor to success.
