1. Drop step to baseline.
After getting the pass give a fake toward the lane, then extend your inside foot backward, pivot on it quickly to the baseline and to the hoop. Extend your arms forward toward the hoop.

2. Up and under move. (That's what I call it haha)
Pivot when facing the defender, fake a shot to get him/her to jump. The defender is now off guard. Quickly duck and under the defender straight to the hoop, or if defender backs off on faking your shot, take the jump shot.

It is most effective to use the drop step to baseline when on the move and receiving a pass quickly. You are able to make a quick decision and move quickly towards the basket.
It is most effective to use the up and under move when being covered by man defense, low in towards the basket. You can be on the move, but most likely you are set when you receive the ball. Then you can judge the defense and make your decision.

1. One post move is when your down low on the left side of the basket, you get the ball, shimey a little with your back facing the basket, then move your foot into the paint, dribble with both hands and layup.
2. Another post move is when your down low on the left side of the basket again, you get the ball, shimey again, pivit to the right, fake shot, step in the paint with the left foot, and lay it up.

2 post moves are the up and under, and the dropstep. They are both good moves to get an easy basket. It is most effective to use them when you have a jumpy defender of when you want to score.

1. First is the drop step to the baseline. This is where you fake into the lane, go to the outside, power dribble, and then lay it up.

2. Second, there is the up and under move. This where you face up, pump fake , and then go under your defender to the basket.

Drop step- shoulder fake towards the base lane (cant stand in paint while doing first step of move) and then step into paint and power dribble once. facing the baseline make a layup.

Up and Under-face the basket. Fake a shot/pass then step with your pivot foot towards the baseline. Power dribble and make a layup

It is effective to use these post moves when you catch the ball right outside of the paint and while you are closely being guarded.

1. Drop step to the baseline: Pump fake to the right, pivot the other way, dribble once then make a layup.

2. Drop step to the paint: Pump fake to the left, pivot the other way, make a jump shot.

Both moves are most effective when you are on offense in triple threat and there is one defender positioned behind you.

2) second move is the drop step to the lane. You fake to the baseline, move your right foot and shoot

2) Up and under - Fake baseline, turn into the paint, fake a shot, one power dribble then go up off of two feet

Both of these are effective when you want to do a post move and get an easy layup

1. The up and under move, where you fake the base line and turn around to fake a jumper, then step by to lay the ball in. It is most effective when the defender bites on the fake

2. The base line drop step, where the person shoulder fakes and takes the foot near the baseline and power dribbles to lay the ball in. It is most effective when you are a step away from the basket.

1) Drop step to baseline. First fake towards one side, then turn to the other side and step one foot into the paint. Shoot right after one power dribble. It is effective when you receive a pass close to the baseline.
2) Up and Under. First make a fake shot so the defender will jump high. Then go low and pass his defense. It is useful when there is only one defender close to you.

Drop step:
After receiving the pass, make a high shoulder fake toward the lane, move your inside foot back, pivot to the baseline and to the hoop. Do one power dribble and then shoot. Effective when receiving a quick pass near the baseline.
Up and under:
Give a shoulder fake, then pivot when facing the defender, fake a shot, then quickly extend your inside leg past the defender, dribble once, and shoot a lay up off of two feet. Effective during man-to-man defense near the basket. Useful for getting away from the defender.

1. The drop step to the baseline is very effective when your defender is over playing you to the paint. This move seals the defender and creates an open lane.

2. The up and under is used to get the defender in the air and create a potential layup.

drop step, up and under, both moves work well when u kno ur defender will try to block ur shot, its effective because they are high percentage shots.

Upa and Under- triple threat fake shot then cross defender and shoot
