1. up and under- you start above the low block, shoulder fake one way, and then pivot the opposite direction showing the ball as if your gonna shoot it. Seal the defender behind with a step through and score.

2. Drop step- take one foot, instead of completely pivoting, you drop that foot behind the Defender to seal them

1.)dribble drop move- spin move in paint. fakes ball to baseline and makes power dribble into lane.once defender is in the air, spin back to baseline for a layup. Use this move when posting up a fast defender to get them out of the way.

2.)up and under move- After pivoting and facing the defender, fake a shot to get defender to jump off the floor. then duck under player to draw foul or get layup. use this move when stuck in paint with no one to pass too. also if the defender is taller than u, it helps to get them out of they way.

1. Drop step to baseline
This is when you are at the low post and you ball fake to the center and then go in for the easy layup.

2. Drop step to center
This is when you are at the low post and you fake toward the basket and then pivot to backwards and fake the shot then you go in low for the layup.

Drop step- shoulder fake towards the lane while holding the ball outside the paint, and then power dribble once facing the baseline, and then make a layup.

Up and Under- pivot and face the basket. Fake a shot, and then step with the same pivot foot towards the baseline. Power dribble, and then make a layup

It is effective to use these post moves when you catch the ball outside of the paint and is closely guarded by a defender.

After receiving the ball, feel where the defender is and if the defender is on the lane side or high side, give a fake toward the lane Then extend your inside (baseline) foot backward, pivot on it quickly to the baseline and to the hoop. Keep your body between the defender and the ball, and extend your arms forward toward the hoop and lay up. This is the drop step to baseline post move.

Drop step to lane: After receiving the ball, feel where the defender is. If on your baseline side, fake to the baseline, and drop your lane-side foot backward. Pivot quickly on that foot, and jump hook and shoot with the hand opposite the defender.

1. Receive the ball, feel where the defender is. If the defender is on your baseline side, fake to that baseline, and drop your side foot backward. Pivot quickly on that foot, jump hook and shoot with the hand opposite the defender.

1. A drop step into the lane is when you fake towards the hoop, and then pivot out away from the basket and take a two handed dribble, then go up for the shot
2. An up and under is when you do the same thing as a drop step to the lane, but instead you pump fake, and dip your shoulder to get around the defender, then you go up strong
Both of these moves are effective when trying to get separation and a close range shot at the same time.
