The fake+drop step to the base line is a move the requires catching the ball above the block. Giving a shoulder fake towards the rim. Then drop stepping towards the baseline with a power dribble to finish at the rim. It is used when the defender tries to push you out the paint.

The up and under is a move that is used when the defender tries to prevent you from dropping to the baseline and then tries blocking your shot too zealously. It is done by catching the ball above the block, turning around, faking the shot up and bringing the ball down under to finish at the rim.

2. drop step to the middle-this move is moset effective when your opponent is bigger than you and you are able to shoot over your opponent.

1. Drop step
-stand on the left or right block with the foot closest to towards the 3- pt line as your pivot foot. drop your foot closest to the baseline towards the basket, take a dribble and score a L/R handed lay-up

2. Up and under
-Stand on either block again except this time your foot closest to the 3-point line is your pivot foot. Fake like you are going baseline with a shoulder fake then pivot inside towards the paint. At that point, make a shot-fake then take a power-dribble and score

One post move is the drop step to the base line. you put yourself right above the block and out of the paint(with your back to the basket. then, you take a power dribble and step to the block (getting both your feet together) and take the layup. Another move is the drop step to the middle. you position yourself the same way as in the drop to the baseline. take a power dribble to the paint and use the hand opposite to the side of the basket to shoot. It is effective to use these moves when you are down around the block and have a defender that is smaller than you.

Drop Step is used when there is a smaller, weaker defender on you. You drop your low foot towards the baseline to close off the defender, then you take a power dribble and explode to the rim.

Up and under is used when there is a bigger, stronger defender on you. Your foot closest to the baseline is your pivot foot. You fake the layup to get your defender off of his feet, then you go under his jump and finish toward the other side of the rim.

1. Up and Under
Fake low, turn other side, fake shot, step past for layup. Use this if your defender is going for big blocks and guessing your move, the extra fake will throw them off.

2. Drop Step
Fake high, drop back foot with power dribble and layup. Use this when you have good positioning on the defender.

1.)The up and under move. Which is used when the defender is on you and wont let you go thorugh the baseline.
2.)The fake shot to the base line. You do this by catching the ball above the block.

The move up and under is done by fake baseline and turning high and faking a shot and then powerstepping for layup. You shuld use this move when defender thinks you will shoot or go baseline.
The move drop step is a fake high and power step to baseline for a layup. You should use this move when the defender think you will go high.

One of the moves that we learned is that the up and under. This is when the offensive player gets the ball just ouside of the paint. He then fakes like he is going baseline, and pivots his foot to the basket inside of the paint. After he does this, he fakes the shot and power dribbles to the basket for the points.

Another move that we learned is the drop step. This is when the offender again gets the ball just above the paint. He fakes like he is going into the paint for the layup, but then pivots his foot to the baseline, and power dribbles to the basket for the score.

The up and under is a move consisting of two parts: a shot fake and a step-through. First the player with the ball fakes a shot by thrusting the ball above his head as if to take a shot, then when the defender jumps in an attempt to block the shot, the offensive player steps by him and attempts a clear, unguarded shot.

The drop step is a move in which the player posting up takes a back step on the side of a defender behind him and spins to that side to gain leverage

Drop step- Fake high, drop your bottom foot towards the basket. This move can be used with a smaller defender guarding you

Up and Under- Fake low, pivot towards the middle, then shot fake to get your defender to jump. After he jumps power dribble towards the basket and lay it in. This move can be used with a taller defender that likes to block shots

1.) drop step- this down low move is to be used when there is a smaller weaker defender on you. All you do is fake high drop your foot towards the basket with a power dribble and go up for the lay up.

2.) up and under- this down low move is to be used when the defender thinks you are going to shot it and if you want to get them off balance so you can fake them out and make the easy lay up. To do this move all you do is fake low, move your feet to the middle and fake the shot. Then you move your foot in front of the defender to keep him from blocking your shot while doing a power dribble and shot the lay up.

The drop step: When you are in the post and want to execute the drop step, you must first stay above the block. When you receive the ball, you fake high without moving your feet. Then using leg closest to the basket you will seal the defense, take a power dribble, and make the shot. This move is most effective to use you are in the post open for the ball. A lot of times if you have height on the defender, this will be an easier move to execute.

The Up and Under Move: This is also another great move to use as a post player. The successfully to do this move, supposing you are on the right side, you first you put back to defender. Then you receive the catch and fake low but making sure not to move your feet. Then you use your right foot as your pivot foot and swing your left foot around so that you are facing the defender and the basket. You are now going to pump fake a shot, and lastly take the same left foot, sealing the defender to make the layup. This is effective when you are quick in executing your moves in the post, and you have a significant height on the defender.

1. Up and Under- You have your feet positioned on the block closest to the baseline (outside of the paint), you fake with your shoulder closest to the basket, turn the opposite way with the foot farthest from the baseline as the one that stays in place, fake ur shot again, dribble once toward the basket and finish with a layup; best used when your defender falls for fake shots.
2. Drop step- You have your feet positioned the same way as you do in the up and under move, and you drop your foot closest to the baseline towards the basket and finish with a layup; best used on a larger defender that is harder to get past using fakes.

1) Up and under - Fake your shoulder towards the base line, pivot into the paint, fake the shot, go up for a layup. This is effective if your defender jumps for the block easily.

2) Drop step - Fake towards the inside with your shoulder, drop your back foot and go up after a power dribble. This is effective if your defender is not that strong and is smaller than you

1. One post move is an up and under when your defender is very tall. It is most effective when you the defender is playing good defence, because he might fall for the fake.
2. Another post move is the drop step, which is effective when your defender is smaller then you or when the defender isnt playing as good defense.
