3. post moves if successful can stretch defense.
4.its important to set screens to get teammates open and to call out screens to let defense recover fast.

1. Fundamental skills: Fundamentals are very important for every player and all players should be fundamental.
1on1: Being able to attack the basket is very helpful and important for your team. If you can attack the basket then you can get easy baskets and draw fouls.
2on2: For bigger players post moves are important to do because you get most of your baskets in the paint. Playing D is the most important part in basketball and if a team can play good team basketball then they have a very good chance of being successful.
3on3: Setting Screens, Reading the Defense, and creating space are all very important for any team becasue thats how you can pick apart a defense.
2. I feel successful with all the topics and i can execute them very well.

Period 4
1. You need fundamental and movement skills for 5 v 5 games. This relates to 5v5 because you need to get the fundamental skills like shooting from range, making a lay-up, pivoting, rebounding, setting picks, etc down pat. These skills are learning skills that we acquire during our learning stages of the game. This especially helps with 5v5 because it allows smooth transition when working with a team. I feel more that comfortable with these fundamental skills I have listed. From learning, and practicing these skills come quite naturally to me.
2. Attacking and defending the basket. With these concepts one can’t be afraid or hesitant when executing. Attacking is important with 5v5 because with the help of your team, you need to attack the basket to gain points. It is very essential that you defend the basket, like defending players, getting defensive rebounds; taking a charge to make sure that you 5v5 team doesn’t let the other team make too many points. When attacking, I feel confident to shoot if I have the open shot. Going for the lay-up is another attack move that I feel successful in. Defensively, I am a little less and successful. Being one of the smaller players on the court and having more experience with guard that post, I feel that defending the basket in the paint is something I need to work on.
3. Post moves and defense is very important in 5v5 because, when our team is on defense, is as important as being on attack. This means blocking the other teams shots, getting defensive rebounds, having your hand in the air. When playing 5v5 each player plays both offense and defense, so if our defense isn’t strong it can cost us the game. I feel pretty successful with denying the offensive player’s shots, attempting the steals, and guarding my basket. But again, being a post player is something I need to work on as I don’t feel as confident and successful at.
4. 3v3 was my favorite unit of basketball. Setting screens, reading the defense, and creating space are huge basketball concepts that tie into 5v5 basketball. Setting screens for teammates with the ball helps your 5v5 teammates, and allows a shot to be made. Reading the defense is another technique 5v5 players use to help make a good play. Creating space not only allows an open shot for a player but allows more ball movement around the court. This is especially important in 5v5 basketball because 3v3 is very similar with the multiple players and the skill level. I am feel successful with these 3 moves as I have been practicing them in my 3v3 and find them very effective.

1. Fundamental skills relate because that is the basis for all of the playing in basketball.

2. 1 on 1 is useful for when you have a match up and you can take your man to the basket.

3. 2 on 2 is useful for playing a 2 man game. Such as, pick and roll.

4. 3 on 3 is even more useful as team defensive strategies can be incorporated.

I feel very successful with all of these topics.

1. You need to be able to have the basic fundamental skills as well as moving.
2. You need to attack the basket in order to create easy scores and or free throws.
3. Post moves is important to have in your set of skills. Defense is everything in 2-on-2 because it is there are only 2 players.
4. Setting screens and using them are essential because it creates holes in the defense as well as easy baskets.
I feel successful with all the topics

1. Fundamentals are the basics of the game that all basketball players should be experts at doing. Movement skills are learned over time as level of competition increases and forces your movements to evolve more and more complex.
2. Being able to make plays by yourself is a very important aspect of 5v5. If your teammates are not available to make a play, why not make it yourself or defend against someone who wants an isolation.
3. 2v2 relates to5v5 through executing or defending the pick and roll. If one teammate sets a screen for you, you can either find him on the role or make a play off of the dribble. 2v2 defense is very important when it comes to pick and rolls in 5v5 because the defense is forced to make a decision whether to stay with the men they were guarding or switch men.
3. 3v3 relates to 5v5 in many ways. First, playing 3v3 requires help defense and a team defensive effort rather than just one person which also applies to 5v5. Reading the defense and creating space are similar in 3v3 and 5v5 as there are more players on the floor therefore you have to make decisions more quickly because you are surrounded. You are not isolated like 1v1.

- I feel very successful with each of these topics and I think I can execute each one and apply each one to a full-court 5v5 game.

1. Fundamental skills and movement skills help a player in any type of game, no matter how many people.
2. Attacking the basket is good for 5-on-5 because even if the player misses a shot, another person from the same team can get the rebound and score. Also, by attacking the basket, it will make defenders collapse, and the player can pass the ball to an open player for the score.
3. Post moves can be used as an advantage to height, or just to someone who can finish down low. Also, with defense, the opposing team will have a harder time finding ways to score, and will force them to make turnovers.
4. Setting screens can be very effective on 5-on-5 play. It gives your teammates room to dribble or drive or shoot, and gives them more space to work with. If you read the defense correctly, you can find the weakness and go after it to score multiple times.

I felt pretty successful with all of these topics, but more of the creating space. I can create space for me and my teammates, which gives us a better chance of scoring.

1. To play effectively on a team, every player must have solid fundamentals and the ability to move without the ball to space the floor on offense.

2. The ability to attack the basket is necessary for offenses to create space and draw the defense in. Similarly, defending the basket to prevent easy layups is the primary goal of a good team defense.

3.Post moves allow the team to take advantage of height and/or good spacing to finish at the rim.

4.Setting screens, reading the defense and other space creating techniques are vital to getting efficient offensive possessions and high quality shots.

Also, I feel confident in applying all of these topics to five on five.

1. Fundamentals are necessary to have success on the court and play basketball in general.

2. Being able to guard your opponent is vital to your team (if you cannot then you will force extra pressure on your teammates to play help defense).

3. If your team has a player who can play effectively using post moves the offense will be more effective. Players on defense may attempt to double team someone posting up, so there will be an open teammate to pass to.

4. If players set screens for teammates instead of constantly demanding a pass then a team can succeed on offense. Also, defensive players will need to build the chemistry and trust to know when it is necessary to switch after a player is screened of their man.

I do not feel successful with any of the topics and cannot execute them at an elementary level.

1Fundamentals are the starting point for all basketball players without them you cant do anything
2The 1v1 helps you to be able to create your own shots
3the 2v2 teaches you to set screens for each other to get open for good shots
43v3 for help defense and set screens off the ball so they can get open for the easy dish and score
I feel successful with the topics

Number One.)Its good to have natural amazing skills and to have amazing streetball skills, but fundamentals are very important without them you won't go far.
2.)1on1 is important because when you need to score points, you can use your crossovers, your stepbacks to score points.
3.)Post moves are very important it helps you stretch out the defense
4.)One person can't win all by themselves, they need there team. So using screens, can help elevate your teams performance

1. In order to play basketball you need to know the fundamentals.

2. You cant always count on someone to help out if your man beats you, so you need to develop good 1 on 1 defense.

3. Post moves are a very easy way to get quick baskets. They are also very more efficient then three point shots

4. 3 on 3 can help you get used to playing on a team. It allows you to run offensive plays and play team defense.

I feel successful with all of these topics.

1. Fundamental skills are very important because it is important to have a solid foundation for your basketball skills, as it relates to teamwork as well.
2. Attacking and defending the basket is important because it can draw fouls and help your team score extra points on the free throw.
3. Post moves are very important both offensively and defensively because it is a major advantage if your team can score points down in the paint.
4. On 5v5, setting screens, as well as reading the defense is important and is vital for a successful 5 man team. Creating space is an excellent way to score some easy baskets.

I think I am successful with these topics, and I am confident with my abilities.

1. Fundamentals are like the foundation of a player. The better the fundamentals the stronger and better the player will be.
2. 1v1 helps with 5v5 because with many more players on the team, most of the time it will be hard to be an effective scorer so, playing 1v1 helps you be able to create space so you can take the shot or get enough room to dish it out.
3. 2v2 helps with 5v5 because, like i said before it's like that foundation, as soon you start shutting players down and grabbing rebounds you are like the teams best player cause your not letting the other team score. This also helps with offense which leads to making smart decisions and scoring.
4. 3v3 helps with 5v5 because it helps you to start setting screen and reading the defense which is very important on 5v5. Also 3v3 is the start of when you can start designing plays for your team.
---Over all I feel fairly successful with these topics and hope that my 5v5 team can go far.

1)Fundamental skills and movement skills relate to 5 on 5 because you need basic skills and knowledge of everything going on in the game.
2)Attacking the basket relate to 5 on 5 because you can drive and draw the defenders in which leaves another man open for a shot.
3)Post moves and defense relate to 5 on 5 because you want to limit the number of good shot opportunities the opposing team has.
4)Creating space relates to 5 0n 5 because that is how teams score.
I feel successful with all of these topics

1.Fundamental and movement skills are important in executing efficiently on offense and defense.
2.1 on 1 helped in creating offense by yourself and individual defense.
3.2 on 2 makes players pass the ball and work on pick and rolls.
4.3 on 3 requires the team to rotate, get open, cut to the basket, set picks and give help defense if necessary.

I think I did better when there are more people to pass to as opposed to the 1 on 1 which forces players to just focus on their individual game.

1. You need fundamental and movement skills to have an effective offense and defense when playing 5 on 5. i feel very succesful with this topic

2. this is needed for 5 on 5 playing because of isolation situations where it's just you and one player guarding the hoop in offense and defense. i dont feel as comfortable in this area.
3. post moves are needed when playing 5 on 5 for when a player gets in the paint and must perform a post move to get to the basket. this is for offensive use. i am comfortably successful with this.

4. This is needed more in 5 on 5 as there are more people on the court so players need to create more space, read the defense and set screens to be successful in 5 on 5 offensive and defense. i feel very successful with this topic

1. Fundamental and Movement skills help a player on 5-on-5 because you need to know all of the basic skills on the court.
2. For 1-on-1 it becomes more difficult than 5-on-5 because you have more players on the court to pass too with attacking the basketball. With defending the basket you have more control on to where the other team passes the ball.
3. For 2-on-2 it is more easier to set picks for eachother because its just you too, but for 5-on-5 while the other people are screening your looking for a way to get open.
4. For 3-on-3 setting screens with 3 people is the same as having 5-on-5. When your trying to create space you have find an open area to the basket to V-cut.
I am very successful with these topics.

1.Fundamental skills, and movement skills are important. Because everyone needs it to play basketball.
2.1v1 helps you to create your shot and move.
3.2v2 teaches you how to pick and roll.
4.3v3 is more useful because it can teach you how to read a defense.

I don't feel successful with my topics.

1. the fundamentals are where it starts
2. to call iso if u can take the defender
3.post moves allows the defense to protect the paint more.
4.Screens allows easy shots and looks and calling out screens allows the defense to get rid of the looks.
