1. You need fundamental and movement skills to have an effective offense and defense when playing 5 on 5. i feel very succesful with this topic

2. this is needed for 5 on 5 playing because of isolation situations where it's just you and one player guarding the hoop in offense and defense. i dont feel as comfortable in this area.

3. post moves are needed when playing 5 on 5 for when a player gets in the paint and must perform a post move to get to the basket. this is for offensive use. i am comfortably successful with this.

4. This is needed more in 5 on 5 as there are more people on the court so players need to create more space, read the defense and set screens to be successful in 5 on 5 offensive and defense. i feel very successful with this topic

1. Fundamental skills and movement skills relate to 5 on 5 basketball because these are the basic and most necessary
skills in order to be successful in your game. Whether on offense or defense, the fluidity and cooperativeness of your
team is necessary to win. Also, without these skills, it will be hard to move around and work together with 4 other
people on your team.

2. Attacking and Defending the basket is important for 5 on 5
because in order to make plays with a larger team, you have
to get to the basket and quickly. When defending the basket,
it is important to set the type of d, then execute defense
as a whole.

3. Post moves and Defense is important for 5 on 5 because you
need to use these moves in order to get open and beat the
defenders around you. Post moves are a great way to score points
in 5 on 5 because there is much less risk, and once open in
the post, you are able to close out easily.

4. Setting screens, reading the defense, and creating space is
probably in my opinion the most crucial aspect in 5 on 5 or
in another game. With a team of 5 people, it is very easy to
work out plays, but in order to score you have to set screens
for team mates, make space from your defender and read the
defense in order to execute a winning play.

-I feel successsful with the fundamental and skills, attacking
and defending the basket, and defense. I am not as success in
post moves, setting screens, and making space. I am working
on these skills, and working with a team of 5 will benefit my
level of success in the moves and in the games.

1.) Movement skills help b/c in 5 on 5 we will need to do a lot of spacing.
2.) in one on one we learned how to score by ourselves which will help in 5 on 5. we will be better at defense too.
3.) post moves will help in 5 on 5 when feeding the big man inside and doing moves inside.
4.) setting screens help keep motion and fluidity in the offense whenever our offense breaks down. and when reading the defense we will know when and where to attack the defense.
I feel good on each of these topics and feel I have improved everyday. This is how movement and fundamental skill will help in 5 on 5.

All of these pieces we have been working on come together in 5 on 5 basketball. Fundamentals and movement skills you need in any basketball. Attacking the basket is for guards more then bigger positions. Post moves is for more the power forward and center. Settubg screebs and creating space and reading defenses are the difference between being a good player and a great player

1. In 5-on-5 basketball, you have to have good fundamental and movement skills in order to play the game well and move around the court. This is important to have for any sport.

2. In 5-on-5 basketball, attacking and defending the basket is used on defense to protect the lane and avoid the offense from driving in.

3. In 5-on-5 basketball, post moves are important because they are easy to make if you do the move right. Defense is always important when playing the game.

4. In 5-on-5 basketball, setting screens are used to allow players to get open. Reading the defense is a good strategy for all the offensive players so they can call the play. Creating space is important so the offensive player with the ball can get a good open shot.

1.Fundamental and movement skills are important in executing efficiently on offense and defense.
2.1 on 1 helped in creating offense by yourself and individual defense.
3.2 on 2 makes players pass the ball and work on pick and rolls.
4.3 on 3 requires the team to rotate, get open, cut to the basket, set picks and give help defense if necessary.

I think I did better when there are more people to pass to as opposed to the 1 on 1 which forces players to just focus on their individual game.

1. My fundamental skills over the coarse of the semester have improved.
2.I have also improved in attacking the basket but not as much on defence.
3.although my defending skills are not top tier I have found the Mrs. Dyer post moves to be the most effective way to get to the basket.
4. Seting screens its very easy along with reading the defence. Creating space has however proven itself to be difficult.
-all of these tactics and tricks will be used to most effectively enhance my five on five basketball career and make me a more dangerous threat on the court

1v1 help us create space off the dribble
2v2 helped us with the pick and roll and help D
3v3 combined the two
I feel like I could do better creating space off the dribble

For 5 on 5, fundamental and movement skills are important when you have an open shot or a passing lane. I think I was not very successful in fundamental skills because my shooting did not improve. Being able to attack and defend the basket is very important in 5 on 5 because if someone gets a fast break, they will easily be able to score and people need to know to do that and defend it. Post moves are important in 5 on 5 because if you are on the block and have a mismatch, it will be an easy basket. I think my post moves improved because I am able to execute them better. Setting screens and creating space will be helpful in 5 on 5 if you see someone stuck or in need of space to shoot. I think I was not successful in this skill because I am not able to create space well.

1. In 5v5, fundamental and movement skills will help with controlling the ball and spacial awareness, both of which I am good at
2. Attacking the basket is a huge part of full court because you gotta be able to score in a fast break situation or when the defense is closing in. You also have to be able to stop a man when he's coming down the lane as well as stopping his outside shot. I am comfortable in this area of play.
3. Post moves help 5v5 for when you get a pass down low and you gotta score close to the basket, and help defense is crucial when your playing against a skilled offense. These have become two things I succeed at.
4. Lastly, the 3v3 unit helped by showing how to get your teammates open as well as watching out for what the other team is doing. I feel very able in this area too.

1.Fundamental and movement skills are extremely important in executing properly on offense and defense
2.1 on 1 helped in creating more offense by yourself and individual defense
3.2 on 2 makes players pass the ball and work on pick and rolls to get open and score
4.3 on 3 requires the team to rotate, get open, cut to the basket, set picks and give help defense if necessary

I think I did better when there are more people to pass to as opposed to the 1 on 1 which forces players to just focus on their individual game and when you have other teammates to rely on

Fundamenatal and movement skills are important because they help you run a proper and effective offense and defense.

1v1 teaches you how to attack the basket in a 1v1 situation and helps you focus on properly gaurding your man 1 on 1.

2v2 teaches you how to utilize haveing another teammate and passing the ball and use picks to create space.

3v3 teaches you how to get open by cutting

Ifeel that I am successful with all of them but I could use some more work with 1v1

2) Allows you to understand how defense and offense works
3) Able to know how to set pick and roll plays
4) Allows you to know your passing abilities and use your teammates
1 on 1 im more efficient because i rely on myself

1. Fundamental skills, and Movement Skills are needed for basic basketball concepts. I'm pretty good at this. They're important to every basketball player in 5 on 5
2. 1-on-1 Basketball is important because every player needs to do their own part on the team. It comes down to one on one. I'm okay at this.
3. Post moves and defense
This is important because defense is needed to stop the other team from scoring, and to win the game. Post players are close to the basket and if they can get a good move in they can score easily. I'm not very good at post moves.
4. 3 on 3- Basketball- Setting Screens, Reading the Defense, and creating space
It's important to get teammates open and spaced out so that the offense can score more easily. This is very fundamental. I'm not very good at setting screens, but okay at getting open.

1. Fundamental skills so you know how to shoot, dribble, pass and defend. Movement skills so you can do the above.
2. in five on five basketball you need to attack the basket and also defend the basket.
3. five on five basketball also requires two on two basketball skills such as posting up. The defense has to defend the post player
4. Setting screens in five on five basketball is important because it creates space and allows you to score. Reading the defense is important because it allows you to see what you need to do to score on offense.

1. Fundamental and movement skills help to create an effective offense and defense when playing 5-on-5. I feel good at this topic.

2. Attacking and Defending the Basket is need to know how to get to the basket and score effectively. I feel OK in this area.

3. Post moves are used in 5-on-5 usually when a bigger player gets in the paint to try and get an easier, high percentage shot. I don't feel too comfortable in this topic.

4. These are needed in 5-on-5 because there are a total of 10 players on the court, and without spreading out and creating space, everyone will be bunched up and it will be hard to score. I feel successful in this topic.

1. fundamental/movement skills are being able to have good foot work and not traveling which relates to 5 on 5 because you dont want to have a turn over.

2. 1 on 1 teaches that you always have the option to drive by a defender. and that you have to strap up on defense.

3. 2 on 2 teaches on the defensive aspect that you have to play help side incase your partner getrs beat.

4. 3 on 3 , teaches creating space and this is relevent in 5 on 5 because theres a lot of people on the court therefore you need to cut towards the basketball.

1. Fundamental and movement skills relate to 5on5 games because these are the basic requirements you need to be good in most sports. I feel very successful on this topic.

2. Attacking and defending the basket relates to 5on5 games because you need to attack and score fast before defense gets on to you and scoring gets you to win. You also need to defend so your opponents don't score. Im not the best when it comes to defending but i feel quite comfortable with attacking.

3. Post moves and defense relate to 5on5 games because you can do post moves to get to the basket faster because you create more space. I don't use them much in games but i can do them quite successfully.

4. Setting screens, reading the defense and creating space relate to 5on5 games because you can do them to help team mates struggling to get passed defense so they can score. I am quite successful in this topic.

1.You have to have good fundamental and movement skills in order to be aware of the plays that are going on and help support your team.

2.Attacking and defending the basket is used on defense to block the lane from easy layups and to not let the offense have their way inside the paint.

3. Post moves are important because they are essential to scoring in the paint. It can give you a shot close to the basket that is a high percetage shot.

4. Setting screens are used to get players to get open. Reading the defense is a good way to get open shots and easy baskets. Creating space is important so player with the ball can get a open shot or easy shot.

1. Fundamental skills, and Movement Skills help get the ball up and down the court.
2. 1v1 teaches you how to attack the basket to score and to defend the basket to prevent scoring.
3. 2v2 teaches you how to work with a partner by using them to set up post moves, to pass, and get open by cutting in and out.
4. 3v3 teaches you how to use your teammates for setting screens to get them open to shoot and to create space for your teammates. By doing that it lets the person with the ball have room to drive to the basket. Reading the opponents defense allows you to steal the ball from the opponent and score.
All of these topics help a 5v5 team to be really successful in games. I feel successful enough with each of these topics.

1. Fundamental skills and movement skills will in in 5 on 5 through helping create space, ball movement and help avoid turning over the ball.

2.1 on 1, attacking and defending helps when the defense is playing man-on during 5 on 5. The experience from 1 on 1 should help you beat your defender.

3. The 2 on 2 post moves and defense create more variation in your offense and allow you to dominate all parts of the court.

4.Playing 3 on 3, Setting Screens, Reading the Defense, and creating space helps with keeping the offense moving and ball movement allowing you to score the majority of the time at the basket.

1. To be a good basketball player one must know the fundamental skills and movement skills before advancing to harder skills. Knowing these basic skills will be very beneficial when playing 5 on 5. successful!

2. 1-on-1 Basketball is needed for 5 on 5 because that is where one learns to attack the basket the most and defends the basket all by themselves. These skills are used in 5 on 5. successful!

3. 2-on-2 Basketball- Post Moves and Defense...........are needed on 5 on 5 because the player is no longer by themselves and has to learn how to still do what they have learned but use it with another teammate. successful!

4. 3 on 3- Basketball- Setting Screens, Reading the Defense, and creating space............is needed on 5 on 5 because these skills are used a lot in games. They create space for the whole team and helps the 5 players defensively as well by being able to steal the ball or even lead the ball in a certain direction. successful!

1. Fundamental and movement skills relate to 5 on 5, because they are the most important and basic skills you need to become successful in the game.
2. 1 on 1 helped by teaching us how to create space and attack the basket. On defense you have to prevent the offense player from scoring.
3. 2 on 2 taught us another way to score easy points. This helps on 5 on 5 especially when there is a mismatch. For defense is always a group effort.
4. Setting screens is important because you need io create space. Also, it creates a break in the defense and an opportunity to score. Quick passing allows you to shoot, and it becomes harder for the defense to guard you.

The fundamental and movement skills allow you to be able to effectively control the ball when you are on offense. The defense and offense used in 1-on-1 is similar in a 2-3 or 1-2 situation. Post moves learned in 2-on-2 can help the team score many points, especially the center. In 3-on-3, setting screens, reading the defense and creating space are similar to 5-on-5. Without these skills, a 5-on-5 team can not succeed.

1. You need fundamental and movement skills to be sucessful on offense and defense

2.Attacking and defending for one on one was important bacause you need to know what to do on a 1 on 1 situation

3. Post moves are needed because if u get guarded down low, you want to score not just pass it away. post moves help you make a play

4. Setting screens and reading a defense and V cuts are very important in basketball because without these, you cannot get an offense moving

1. Moving and communicating with or without the ball are necessary on both sides of the court. I feel good about my fundamentals.
2. Attacking and defending the basket in one on one situations is always important. I feel good about attacking and defending in one on one sitations.
3. In 5 on 5, there will almost always be a player in the post. In result there will almost always be a player gaurding the post. I do not feel too comfortable playing in the post.
4. Setting screens and reading the defense are crucial aspects of 5 on 5. Ball movement on offense and reacting correctly on defense will lead to successful basketball. Spacing is required on both sides of the floor to keep organization while playing. I feel good about this topic.
