Period 8 Advanced Basketball

Due Date: Friday, October 22nd

We are currently in our 2 on 2 unit. At the beginning of this unit we spent several days working on post moves and focusing on a post-wing game. Based on what you have learned, how is your team's post game during game play? Do you think this is affecting your win/loss record? Why?

Horrible. I don't think we're even posting up...
Apparently, it is. We only won once out of three. Maybe if we tried this idea, we might get different results.

Might.

well er really dont have a post game we are just shooters and it has been working for us and thats y we r undefeated and the reason y we dont use the post moves is that we really are not big guys or post players

My post game has worked well lately. when i get double teamed i just pass it out to bianca for the 3. we are almost unstoppable. we have lost 2 games but it was because the other team cheated. winners never cheat and cheaters never win. biancas wing moves are continually being finely tuned.

We dont really post up. We mainly just drive to the basket. I dont think it affects our record because if we improve on our chemistry we will be tough to beat.

I think our post up game is pretty good because me and cam both can post up well. also it makes it easier for the kickout jump shot if the post game is good.\

Our post game is ok but we barely do it since we got "me" on the team so its all good. Besides the post game we are good but we need to win more games. My teamate and I are going to try the post game and see how it goes.

Considering me and dee are the 2 shortest kids in the class it is quite hard to post up, although we do kick out to the wing alot and shoot 3's. I dont think it really affects us, if our shots are on we should win and if were missing we'll lose.

We have virtually no post play, but we mostly use L cuts and V cuts. Also posting up has not effected our record but it probably would help.

I think our post game is pretty nice, If Paul has the ball im usually down low waiting for that kill, if not Pauls usually up high for the 3 or drives in hard. Our record isnt bad we could be better but i have to work on my shot

We don't really post up. We're both shooters and we play pretty good defense. Thats our winning formula

Connor has really good post game, which has done really well with most of our games. When he gets double teamed down by the basket, he throws it out for me to hit a 3. All and all i think we make a pretty good team.

Our post game is not really as strong as it should be because we rarely try to pound the ball down into the paint. I think if we did my team might have one or two more wins then it has now.

Yes, the post moves helped me and my team. Because the game is two on two you have more space to do the moves, so they can be more effective. My record has mos def helped.
