2. 2 teams that switch between offense and defense depending on possession of the ball
3. Team sport where the passing of the ball is crucial

In both games, you need to get the ball to a certain place, in football a touchdown zone and in soccer the goal. In both games, there is an offense and a defense. Also, there are certain positions in both games that are there to do a specific task.

Both the Flag Football unit and the Soccer unit are called invasion games since the players are required to contest a shared space while defending an area and attacking another area. Three similarites between Flag Football and Soccer are:

1. The goal and endzone to score for both Flag Football and Soccer are to be defended by the players on their team to prevent the opposite team from scoring.

2. Flag Football and Soccer involve attacking the opposition, in order to score for their team.

3.Substitutions are included in Soccer and Flag Football. When certain players must sitout during the play of the games.

The first similarity is that in soccer players have their own positions like centers and goalies and wide receiver.
Another is that they are both team sports meaning that you have to pass it to one another to win.
The third one is that in both sports the ball can be intercepted by the opposing team and score.

Hi it's Dani Averill. Three similarities between soccer and football is that both are played with teams of eleven players on both sides. Also, soccer and football are played mostly by a group of professional men players. Lastly, both sports wear protective equipment in places where most contact occurs.
