Period 5 Basketball

Due Date: Tuesday, January 8th
It has been a great semester in all of my classes.

For your final blog I want to know how I can be a better teacher. Please answer the following questions for your final blog.
1. What did you like most about the class?
2. What did you like least about the class?
3. How did you like the use of the blog in class?
4. What would you change to make your experience in physical education better?
5. Will you take a physical education class again?

Your response will have no implications for your final grade other than if you fail to do it, so please be honest as your responses help form what we do in the future. It has been a pleasure working with each of you this past semester. Stop in and say hi when your travels bring you by the gym.

1. I enjoyed being able to compete, and have fun while playing each sport and match-up. The structure of the class allowed for everyone of various skill levels to still be able to compete with each other.
2. Possibly, the only thing I did not like out of the class was that in September, I knew no one and was stuck in a class of freshmen. Fortunately enough, everyone is friendly in this class and I had no trouble getting to know people. I also wish that we could have played ping-pong this year.
3. The blog is efficient and a very good way to do homework/quizzes.
4. Personally, I enjoyed the class the way it is.
5. Yes, I'm sure in college there will be a physical education requirement, but even if there isn't, I would still take one as an elective.

1. I liked the comepetition involved but mostly, I enjoyed that we were able to learn more about the sport while actually playing real games.

2. Free Fridays were probably my least favorite part of the class because we only had one option of what we could do. It would be better if there were choices.

3. I really liked the blog because it is easier to give us a grade. Also, it helped us sum up our knowledge of basketball concepts we are practicing in class.

4. I enjoyed the class, but one thing I would change is more basketballs because there weren't enough sometimes for everyone to participate.

5. I am not taking basketball next semester but I may take team games.

1. My favorite thing about class is that we would play basketball a lot. We didn't focus most of our time on understanding concepts or drills, we got better by playing more.
2. My least favorite thing about the class was that we did not get to pick our groups or teams for a lot of activities.
3.I think the blog was a great way to fulfill the requirement of homework because it was an easy way for students to learn and answer questions that wasn't too taxing.
4. To make my experience in physical education better I should have been a bit more careful while playing to prevent from injuring myself. Other than that I loved basketball class and wish I had taken it next semester!
5. I very much enjoyed physical education this semester and I think that I might take another gym class.

1. What I liked most about the class was when we play team games like 3 on 3 or 4 on 4.

2. The least thing I liked about the class were the warm-up drills. Im not against warm up drill but sometimes we'd do them for a long time and then we had little playing time left in class.

3. I think the use of the blog is a good idea. It's good because it connects to what your doing in class.

4. To make my experience in physical education better I would try a little bit harder(I know thats cliche to say but I mean it Mrs. Dyer!)

5. Yes, I'd take a physical education but only if your the teacher, no one else. I also hope this earns me extra brownies points since I think your the best teacher.

Sincerely, Your favorite and most awesome, oustanding, amazing, super cool, student.

1. What i liked most about the class is the team gameswe played. like five on five or four on four.

2. What i liked least about the class were the warm-up dreams. I often felt like they were too long and it would take up most of our playing time in class.

3. The use of the blog was erally helpful. It really conncets with whats going on in the class and about the lesson were learning.

4. To make my experience in physical education better I would try a little bit harder than i did (I know that sounds cliche Mrs. Dyer, But im serious)

5. Yes, I would taske physical education again but only if your the teacher. I also think this should earn me extra brownie points with you since i think your an awesome teacher.
