Due Date: Tuesday, January 8th
It has
been a great semester in all of my classes.
For your final blog I
want to know how I can be a better teacher. Please answer the following
questions for your final blog.
1. What did you like most about the
class?
2. What did you like least about the class?
3. How did you like the
use of the blog in class?
4. What would you change to make your experience in
physical education better?
5. Will you take a physical education class
again?
Your response will have no implications for your final grade other
than if you fail to do it, so please be honest as your responses help form what
we do in the future. It has been a pleasure working with each of you this past
semester. Stop in and say hi when your travels bring you by the gym.

1. I love being on a team
2. Some guys are kinda unfair...
3. I think it's unfair unless we learn the material in class 1st since it's hard to find good online answers
4. I think we should have shorter units so we can have more variety in our games
5. I'm only going to take gym next semester then I'm done
1.) The class plays alot of team sports not just focused on one thing.
2.) Its way to early in the morning to play competitively.
3.) Not really useful due to the fact that we dont talk about them. But im not 100% sure about them.
4.)Make it more competitive by starting off with teams and allowing trades and such.
5.)Yeh next year when im a senior so i can pick on my freshmen brother and his friends.

1. The sports that we played
2. Several people's attitudes during class
3. It is better than taking tests during class
4. Better equipment and sports that are more fun
5. Yes and I'm taking it next semester too
1. I enjoyed playing "handball" and playing in larger groups (i.e. 5-on-5 basketball).
2. I prefered choosing my own group to being assigned to a group.
3. I liked using the blog. It is simple and there is plenty of time to find answers to questions.
4. I think you should assign friends to the same group. (An all-girl team might help, too.)
5. Since I have more credits to take, I probably will not retake P.E. The class was fun, though.

1. I liked how we actually played sports as opposed to spending a week learning how to play it and only getting a couple of days hands on.
2. I didn't like the football unit. Mainly because it was so wet and muddy in the morning.
3. The blog is fine. There was a good amount of time to do it, which I liked A LOT because we have a lot of other school work as well. But what I didn't like about the blog was the quizzes. We didn't know the answers because we didn't talk about the questions in class.
4. I would do exactly what you do, but also include some questions that will be on the blog in the future while you are explaining warm ups.
5. Well, when I signed up for team games, it was mainly to get my gym credit. I was just signing up for one year. At the beginning of team games when I saw I was practically the only girl, I wanted to switch out immediately because I knew no one. But then, I made a lot of friends and gym became a class that I looked forward to. Even though I loved gym this year, I want to try other things in high school before I repeat something I've already done.
