We are finishing up our hockey unit and getting ready to start ultimate frisbee. Both of these activities are invasion games. Please explain how creating space, attacking the goal line, and defending the goal line are critical to being successful in both activities.

Creating space, first off, is extremely crucial in being successful in street hockey and in ultimate frisbee because if you fail to create space you will always be guarded. As a result, your team will never have a chance to play offense and score goals. Next, attacking he goal line is also very important because it gives you advantage to score goals. Lastly, defending the goal line is equally as important because that way the other team won't score.

Having a messured plan for defense and offense is a path to victory.Having at leat one person in the defense helping the goalie while the other team members are playing offense is help ful because if the pock comes our way the preson who is helping o defened the goal will be able to steal it and pass it to the other side you need a lot of space becauseyou need to be free for when they pass you the pock.

in playing an invasion game you got to think how you are going to do it. first you have to create spaces to score a goal because you cannot shoot from anywhere you wnt, thats why you have to be creative in planning you strategy. But this games are not just a good forward because the other team can have also the same strategy as you so thats why you have to be aware of your goal, thats why you have to be a good goaly and a good defender.

IN both hockey and ultimate frisbee you need to create space, attack the goal and defend the goal. Creating space advances the team towards the goal and if you don't attack the goal and take shots than you will never score! Also you need to defend your own goal and put pressure so the other team won't score.

Creating space in hockey is needed inorder to win, if your whole team is in one location defenders can easily steal the puck. Also if you plan to win a game you need to score. Putting several men on the goal line puts pressure on the goalie and defenders, increaseing your chance of scoring. But, your team must have someone who can stop attackers and clear the puck to a team mate. If a team has no defence the offence will just rack up the points.
