Period 2 Advanced Basketball

Due Date: Tuesday, June 1st

In class we do a transition warm-up drill called the 11 Man Drill. Please explain what the goals of the offense and the goals of the defense are in this drill.

The offensive goals are to score off a fast break. On defense your goal is to stop the ball and rebound of a miss.

On offense the goal is to score easy points off a fast break. On defense your objective is to stop the ball and rebound effectively.

In the 11 Man Drill the goals on offense are to try and score off a fast break, while on defense the goal is to stop the others from scoring and to rebound the ball off a miss basket.

On offense the goal is to make a layup on the fast break. Defensively you need to box out and get rebounds

in the 11 man drill the purpose of the drill is to score off a fast break. on defense the objective is to stop the balll early in transition and force a bad shot.

In the 11 Man Drill, the offensive goal is work on a 2 on 1 or a fast break opportunity. Defensively you are trying to stop the offense from scoring and grabbing the rebound if the shot is missed
