1: An interception is when one team throws the ball and the opposing team catches it resulting in a turnover.
2: A fumble is when one team drops the ball and both teams have the chance to pick it back up, but if the other team picks it up, it is a turnover.

Defensive Back: Cornerbacks and Safeties, the last line of defense from the offense and a touchdown. They back the Linebackers who back the linemen.
Blitz: Rushing to get the quarterback to try to get a sack(Tackle him before he can throw the ball)
Interception: A change of possession through a pass being thrown by the QB on the offense targeting a receiver on the defense but being caught by a member of the defense.
Cover 1: One safety has deep coverage, the other players are either manned up(man-to-man coverage) or blitzing.
Cover 3: Three players (often safety and two cornerbacks) have deep coverage. The other players often have other zones closer to the line of scrimmage and sometimes are blitzing.
Wide Reciever: Position which runs routes, blockes, and catches the ball.
Quarterback: Position which throws the ball
Fumble: A loss of possesion by a offensive player which may be recovered by a defensive or offensive player to re-gain possession of ball.
Safety: (position) a defensive back which often plays deep coverage to defend against passes.
(Penalty): Being pushed back into your own endzone and tackled within the endzone. Results in two points for the defense and the offense having to punt the ball back to the other team in kickoff formation.
