1.They are successful because they move around and get open, and also shoot at any opportunity they have.

2.First, we have mixed gender and they don't. Also, they are aloud to dribble when were not.

3.All players are required to wear gloves and protective eyewear for safety. Finally, the people from the video and us have to shoot behind the crease fro safety purposes as well.

Shayla Hall, two things you have to do to be successful in scoring is passing the ball, and blocking people.
Two differences they have than we do is they can let the ball hit the floor like dribble, and they have bigger goals.
Two rules in hand ball are you cant hold the ball for more than 3 sec, and you cant take no more than 3 steps with the ball.

1. fake a shot then shoot and do behind the back shots.

2. play man defence and they do the throw off penalty shot where the other team is trying to block the shots.

3. you can not take more than 3 steps or you tern the ball over. you can not hold the ball for more than 3 sec. or you turn the call over

In the video, the scoring teams both try to create space in order to be able to pass without being intercepted, and they also try to make passing lanes where they can pass back and forth to one another without being intercepted. They also try to fake out members of the other team especially the goalie to be able to score. In the video, the players dribble the ball while we do not, and also they play with a much larger crease than we do. 2 rules of handball are that you must have at least 3 passes before shooting the ball unless it was intercepted, and that if you make a goal but you threw it while stepping inside the crease, it does not count.

1.They had quick passes making it difficult for the defense to guard them as well as faking shots to confuse the goalie to get him out of position.

2.In the game of handball in the video, players can take as many steps as they want. No one also was allowed to be in the crease except the goalie while in our class anybody can be in the crease except shots must be taken from outside it for the goal to count.

3.Only the goalie can be in the crease to allow the goalie to have room.
You can only have the ball for three seconds or else it is a turn over to keep the game moving.

2. They play rougher, and their goals are alot bigger than ours
3. 2 rules in handball are- you can't shoot inside the crease, and when the ball drops,it's the other teams ball

1)To be successful in scoring goals, players pass to each other right in front of the goal so the goalie is fooled. Also, many players jump into the crease to get close to the goal but shoot when close.

2)One difference is that the crease and goal sizes are different. Another is that they take many steps. Also, they dribble the ball.

3)You have to shoot the ball outside of the crease (or over as long as you're not standing on it). Also, you can only take a certain amount of steps (3 in school) with the ball.

1. They trick the opponents into thinking they're about to shoot but then pass it to a different teammate. Also, they pretend like they're going to the right of the opponent when actually they're going to the left.
2. They don't need 3 passes and most of the players shoot from pretty far from the goal.
3. In our class, two rules are we can only hold the ball for 3 seconds and we are only allowed to take 3 steps at most.

1) They are ALWAYS moving and trying to get open
If a person has a chance to shoot they take the shot unless somebody else is in a better position
2) they can bounce pass the ball, there is no minimum number of passes
3) You cannot shoot in the crease - meaning if a player is in the crease and shoots no goal
No Walking
If a handball player takes more than three steps or holds the ball for more than 3 seconds without shooting or passing, then that is deemed ‘walking’ and possession is lost

3. People with the ball are allowed 3 steps and 3 seconds to get rid of the ball

I gotta put my 3 years of humanities to use /somewhere/ right? :D

1. At 0:20 the team that starts with the ball goes for a full team defense strategy where everyone except the person with the ball falls slightly back onto the defending team to keep them away from reaching or stopping the ball. The player with the ball then proceeds to go straight for the shot at a slight curve to make it into the goal, implementing the strategy of using surprise as the goalie may not have been expecting such a direct shot.
2. These professionals have mastered the art of controlling the ball a lot better than we have. In the video many of the made shots are done through curving the ball at a desired angle in order to throw the ball past the goalie into the goal, which is also much bigger than ours. Another difference is that they do not seem to have the three passes rule set into place as many of the shots seemed to have been taken as soon as the player was close to the goal.
3. One major rule in handball is that shots may not be taken when standing inside the "crease" which is a certain area around the goal. This rule is in place to keep the players from getting too close to the goal and making unfair, unblockable shots. This results in many jump shots which are legal as long as the ball was thrown while the feet were not touching the area inside the crease. An even more basic rule is that a goal is made when the ball enters the goal area. This means that when the spherical, main-focus-of-thegame-object-thing comes into contact with the space being occupied inside the net of the other team, and it was thrown by your team, this results in your team earning a point. Points are what are tallied, compared and ultimately decide the winning side, so spherical contact with net space is good.

1.) They jump over the crease to get closer to the goal and they twist around their defenders to get enough room to shoot.
2.) The ball can hit the ground without losing possession and they take a lot of steps.
3.) We have to keep the ball from touching the ground and we cannot hold the ball for more than 3 seconds or take more then 3 steps.

2 differences between their games and our is that they can take as many steps as they want and they were allowed to let the ball hit the floor.
2 rules of handball are 1) you can't shoot while standing in the crease and 2) the goalie doesnt have to stay in the net the whole time.

To be successful:
1.) They make quick passes to get the ball to the player in the best position to take the shot
2.) They use pump fakes to throw off the defenders

Differences
1.) They have penalty shots for fouls, and we don't
2.) They do not have a certain number of passes they have to make before they can shoot, and in our class, we had to have 3 passes before we could shoot

1)Teams often fakes shots in order to get the defenders moving and they also jump from outside the crease to create closer, more accurate goals.
2)One difference is that our crease area is much smaller in class than what they do in the pros. Another difference is that professional handball players can dribble the ball.
3) Players cannot take more than 3 step while in possession of the ball and not dribbling. Another rule is that players cannot be stepping in the crease while attempting shots.
