2.  What is meant by Deuce in tennis?

4.  A server may have two opportunities to hit the ball into the proper service court on each and every point attempt.


5. If  a serve hits the top of the net and falls into the proper service area, the server gets another opportunity to serve correctly with no penalty.

1. The center of the net should be one yard(3 feet or 36") and the posts on the side should be 3 feet and 6 inches.
2. Deuce means that both players have a score of 40 and in order to win, each player must score two consecutive points.

2)A deuce is when both players reach the same score at 40. The players then need to win by 2 points. when one scores a point while in a deuce, they get advantage, if they lose after, then the two are back to a deuce. Someone has to win twice in a row when both players are tied to win the play.
