our defensive strategy is a big part of being sucessfull. If a team is a shooting team we should play a 3-2 zone to guard the outside. If the team likes to drive to the baskety more we should play man to man to guard individually. To make the team pass the ball on the outside we could play a 2-3 zone

well our team is pretty well balanced in terms of height, stregth and athletism, with this being said we can not only run a
a man on man coverage, but because of our team we can run a 2-3 and clog up the middle... So untill next blog Take Care!

Our defensive strategy can help make our team successful becasue we will get steals and stops since we have both quickness and height. We could run a man to man defense, but we should run a 2-3 that revolves into a 3-2, so we can cover the three point range. No one will drive the middle since we have two big, tall bodies in Nick and Kyle.

playing man to man defense would work for my team. if we get defensive rebounds and switch on picks we would have a good defense

Kyle Weissenburger,

My team should run a 2-3 Zone in order for us to be successful. We are not a very quick team in regard with man to man coverage. If we stay in a zone though, we can be deadly forcing opponents to take long shots. (Spielmonstah)

in think that your skill of your defense determines if you win or lose. With a strong D you can get many fast breaks to score more and hold your opponents to minimal points. I think that my team should run a 2-3 zone because we have good height for drives and quick people up top for steals. If we played man to man there could be many picks leaving a short man on a tall man letting them score easily.

Our team strategy can make us very successful in 5 on 5 because it will help the other team score less points helping us win the game. We are a small team and a quick team so man to man defense would work very well. We could also play a 3-2 to help shut down 3 point shooters. Justin and I would be in the back because he is very big which would help in the post.

Our defensive strategy is playing a 3-2 zone which helps guard against the outside shot and get steals which allows the 3 people up top to have a fast break.

Our team could run either a man-to-man or 3-2 zone to be succesful because we are a fast team so we can stick with a player in man, or we can jump to the ball to close out shooters in a 3-2, and then run a fast break.

Our Defensive strategy is to play man to man. Man to man is good so we can stop the good shooters on opposing teams. But if we want to slow an offense down we should play 2-3 and make them work for an open shot

having a good defensive strategy is key to winning games. if you get stops on defense it leads to fast break scoring. my team plays a 4-1 defense. 4 people floating around the perimeter and 1 person guarding the paint. this defense obviously works because we never lose

Since our team doesn't have as much speed as the other teams, we play 3 2 zone. This allows us to guard against the 3 and have two tall players down low to guard the paint.

On defense when the opposing team tends to shoot more than drive we should play a 3-2 zone so that we can guard the outside more. If the team tends to drive more towards the basket we should play a man on man or 2 -3 zone to clog up the middle and prevent them from easily driving towards the basket. The defense my team should play are either zones.

I think playing a 3-2 zone would benefit my team because we can guard the outside shot a little better and fast breaks will be more succesful with 3 guys up top.

life is unpredicable as is our Defense. the superasonics run t a 4-1 and its kinda self explanitory with the athletism of our team and the wuickness we can steal, block, and get rebounds. no one knows how to break this defense when it is at its best because of our adversity. anyways in conclusion are defense was the best planned defense at of every team and Mrs. Dyer you should use it for your team cause it works trust me it works

Our teams defensive strategy works out well because most of the people in the class are smaller than us and good shooters, so we guard the perimeter more with our 4-1. Our size and athletic ability helps us covers areas that most other people wouldn't be able to cover. It works out well since we are so good and cannot be stopped when we try.

my team should plays a 3-2 zone because we have mostly guards with some big men though. For example me, myles, and alec should play on top and justin, alon can play on the bottom in the paint. Deffensive stradegy is crucial to winnint mor crucial than offensive.

Defensive strategy is key to winning games. Having good defense not only prevents the other team from scoring, but it also makes it easier for our team to score, such as fast breaks after getting a stop. The type of defense we should play is a 3-2 zone because there are a lot of good shooters on the other teams, and having 3 players at the top makes it easier to cover the perimeter. If the other team decides to drive, we have 2 players guarding the paint to stop them.

Defensive strategy is very important in making a team successful. Simply, if you can't defend, you won't win games. If we have a solid defense, we should win most of the time. We play a 3-2 zone because we have quick guards who can guard the perimeter, as well as some big men who can guard the post well.

A good defense is what sets the pace of the game. Defensive stops are key to winning a game. Our team successfully wins games with our 4-1 zone defense. 4 people around the perimeter to guard the shooters while one man stands in the post ready to block all lay ups coming his way.

your defensive strategy can help or hurt ur team depending on whether your a quick team or tall team and how the other team plays. If they like to drive you should put a big man in the middle or play sagging man but if they like to shoot you should guard the perimeter. We usually play a 3-2 zone because we have pretty much all guards on our team and we can get numbers on a fast break

My team is a tough team and we have the height, skills, and atheletism to get our 5 on 5 games running. Our defensive strategy is to play man because our team is quick and can keep up but if that fails we usually play a 2-3 zone to block drivers and then shooters.

Defensive strategy helps to put relief on the offense. Playing tight D forces the opposing team to minimal points, putting less pressure on the offense to score. Defense can also create opportunities for fast break points. Our team uses the 4-1 defense to shut down other teams' offense. With a dominant big man(me) covering the entire paint, it makes it unnecessary to put any more players in the paint. As a result, we simply play the other four players on the perimeter to ensure no one make any outside shots.

My team has skills and height so we can effectively get to the hoop and guard the opposing team. When we run our defense it is a big part of our wins. We usually play man to man defense because we are really quick and if not we play a 2-3 zone to block out any shooters and drivers.

Our team has a lot of success because of our 2-3 (for teams that play in the paint) and 3-2 (for shooting teams) zones.
