We are wrapping up our flag football unit and we are getting ready to start our ultimate frisbee unit. Based on the different activities you have participated in this quarter explain how creating space and defensive strategy plays into being successful at a particular activity.

In flag football creating space is very important. If you spread your team out then you have a greater chance that someone will be open. Defensive strategies help keep the other team from gaining yards and your team will know what to do and not be confused.

Based on our units this quarter, creating space and having a good defense are obvously essential. Creating space allows better passes and better teamwork which helps offense. A better defense is also essential to not let the othe r team score.

Creating space while playing offense allows you to be open more, which in turn leads to a more successful team.
By continuously moving, the other team spends more time and effort trying to tack and block your team.
If you create space (or move away from the adversary's team members), you have a better chance on catching the ball or the object of play. If you catch it, you have an even better chance of getting it into the goal.
You can also intercept the ball and be quick about it, because if you get it in your possession quickly enough, the other team members might not react as quickly.
It is also important to pass the ball to open team mates, because they are there to help you! And plus you can usually rely on them to get open and move around. Staying open if the ball is not in your possession is good as well.
Be alert. Zoning out and not paying attention to the game play worsens your team's chance of scoring.
All of these strategies could be used in any of the sports we have studied in the past semester: volleyball, basketball, flag football, floor hockey. The strategies are also helpful in any other sport with a team.

With planned defensive strategy, the possibilities for other team players to defend us tend to be lower than expected. We can see that every single national games is incorporated with skillful strategy to achieve their goal in a more compatible and efficient ways. Often with defensive strategy, players tend to be more motivated and they were able to handle the game, thus leading to success. On the other hand, creating space within teammates contributes by avoiding any incidents to occur. Besides, more space allows players to move freely so that they can easily aim their target.

From our flag football and hockey units, it is clear that creating space and having a good defense is key to being successful. Creating space allows for a higher success rate for passes and therefore better teamwork. A good defense is also necessary, usually by blocking or intercepting the ball while it is in motion, so as to not let the other team score.

In almost all sports that involve getting a ball to the other side you need to make space so that people will get open and you can get to the other side and score. defence is needed so the other team doesnt gain space to score

Spreading your team out will cause a higher chance of passing the ball more successfully whereas when your team is all bunched up it can easily be intercepted.
