Period 4 Basketball

Please make sure to write your name on the blog, or you will not receive credit.Basketball season is underway, what is your favorite college and/or professional basketball team and why?
My favorite college basketball team are the Terps because my sister went to university of Maryland and my sister has taken me to a few of their games. it was very fun and exciting but crazy because there were many crazy college kids around me. I went to the Terps vs. Duke game which was extremely exciting. In the end, i believe the Terps won. It was the most exciting basketball game i have ever been to. Although my sister is out of college now, i hope to go to another game soon.
My favorite professional basketball team is the Washington Wizards. The reason for this is I have lived in the Washington area all my life and have been going to Wizards games for along time and have naturally become a fan of the organization.
My favorite college basketball team is the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets because I was a huge fan of the dynamic squad in '07 that had players such as Thaddeus Young, Anthony Morrow, and former Wizard Javaris Crittenton. I am an even bigger fan of their football team so it only made sense to like their basketball team too.
My favorite college basketball team is the Terps, because my brother went to University of Maryland and they are exciting to watch, especially against duke.
My favorite team is the New York Knicks, because I am from Manhattan and I love the rich history of basketball in NY and Madison Square Garden. My Favorite Player is Amar'e Stoudemire because he is a threat from midrange and if you get up too close on him, he will use his strength and quickness to get to the basket and score. Basically, you can't stop him.
My favorite college basketball team is Duke because they have a good win-loss record and my father likes Duke too so that is also another reason. In addtion, I went to a Duke game before and I saw one player do an alley oop. To me it was really cool because it was the first time I saw an alley oop in my life. I really hope I go to more of their games, but I don't have that much time on my hands, but eventually I will go to another game soon.
My favorite college basketball team is THE Ohio State Buckeyes because i was born there and have liked them since i was born. And theyre number one and undefeated!
Terps of course. I like them because one of my cousins had joined them and my parents visited him. i got to know this team and their game play is awesome.

Terps because my parents went to UMD and i have watched them all my life. Terps are gonna win tomorrow night against Duke.

Definitely the Terps because of their great fan base. The atmosphere and the Comcast Center is amazing! They are the team I've grown up with.
