1. It is the job of the tight end to open up a hole in the defense for the tailback to run through.

1. Tight ends are a mix between a blocker and are also used as a receiving option for the offensive team

3. Pro set- it is easy to pass or run the ball and makes it hard for the other team to know what the offense is doing
Split Back- it gives the offense 2 tight ends which can be used as more passing options and spreads out the defense

ReplyDelete1.) Tight ends go up against the strong linebacker, and in the offensive team, they either join the offensive or defensive line or act as an extra wide receiver.
2.) Weak linebackers, wide receivers, running backs
3.) Pro set: Can run or pass the ball effectively and gives the quarterback a long time to make a pass.
Split back: 2 tight ends, stretches out the opponent's defense
