We are currently in our 2 on 2 unit. At the beginning of this unit we spent several days working on post moves and focusing on a post-wing game. Based on what you have learned, how is your team's post game during game play? Do you think this is affecting your win/loss record? Why?
My team doesnt use post play because we are both shooters. we only have one loss so I think its working well

Our post play is good.It is allowing the team to win more because it allows us to get away from defense and gives us a clear shot to the basket.

My team's post game is fine. The other guy does most of the outside shooting while I do most of posting up. Our third team mate is our best passer and passes the ball all the time. This has positively affected our win/loss record because its like everybody knows what he/she is expected to do.

It is affecting our win loss record enough cause we are not using it enough. If we start making better passes down in the paint I think that our team will be a real threat.

Our post game is very weak. we actualy really dont play a post game. but a good post game is very helpful because it give"s easy scoring oportunity.

ReplyDeleteOur teams post moves are going okay, but it is still a disadvantage when you are a smaller player. I do not think it is affecting our record, because we have good outside shooters.
I think our post game is pretty good, we do a good job making cuts and posting up, so we can layups. This is affecting our win/loss record because we our getting high percentage shots and able to score a lot more points.

It affects my team's games positively, because the defenders don't see it coming and puts us in a good position to shoot, earning us more points, and leading to a win. -Daniel Durkin

My team doesn’t use post moves, mainly because defense assumes you’ll stay at your post then it’s harder to get the ball rather than run nearly as far as you can out of your post so defense will follow you and give your partner a easier way to the basket, or to quickly get the ball and shoot before your defense stops you. If we played post from how strong our defense usually is, my team would probably lose more from the strong defense.

ReplyDeleteThe post moves definitely help in the actual game, and it does affect our win/loss record. Our wins have increased, though not just because of the moves. There are openings in where you can use that kind of a move.
I believe those post moves me and my team use sometimes give points but in my opinion it doesn't make us win since only a few people can use them effectively.

ReplyDeleteThis move really help us. My teammates are tall so we can easily get more points by this move during a game.
ReplyDeleteMy team uses some post play but mainly driving to the basket. It works well because it allows us to spread the floor and leaves one or the other open for jump shots. I think it is working for our team.

ReplyDeletemy team uses no post moves. we just drive or shoot. i think we could win more games if we start posting up because I am pretty tall and only a few can block me.

My team's post moves are good, but we do not really use them during the game because we are both outside shooters. Also it does not affect our record because we usually make all our outside shots.

Since I am the tallest on my team I use my post up moves and they're usually successful against most defenders since they are much smaller and can't jump. I can back down a defender and choose to either shoot it or kick it out to my "point guard". This affects our win/loss record and usually results in a win.

Well I dont think we really use it because I usually set the picks and Brandon usually shoots which gives us an advantage. Our strategy is fairly good on two on two and it has positively influenced the way we place and the outcomes.

It is contributing to the team game right now because creates a fundamental technique to the team play this also supports one of the shots made in to the opponent's basket and sinterceptions
