Period 7 Basketball

Basketball season is underway, what is your favorite college and/or professional basketball team and why?
THE University of Maryland. They have the best back court in the ACC with Vazquez and Hayes combined with a front court that knows their roles on the team and play great defense with Mosley, Milbourne, and Williams. This starting 5 with the deep bench of Gregory, Bowie, Tucker, and Padgett combine to make the number 1 team in the best conference in the country. And finally to top it all off you have a future hall of fame coach in Gary Williams who is one of the best teachers that basketball has ever seen. Thats it.
My favorite professional and college basketball teams are the Wizards and Terps. I've lived in Maryland my whole life and have followed both local teams for a very long time.
I love Duke because they are good and always winning.They have a system that enables them to be common figures in the College Championship.They are just fantastic- Fred M.
University of Maryland becuase they've always been my favorite...they have alot of potential with freshman jordan williams and weve doing better since greivis started passing the ball. Are only problem is that in some games we miss so many open 3s
My favorite college basketball team would have to be the woman Huskies; The University of Connecticut. They are always able to find the ball inside for Maya Moore or Tina Charles for an easy executed lay-up. The Huskies also have nice outside players such as Kalana Greene whom are able to pass the ball around the perimeter, ultimately for a nice shot. If that is not enough to win games, UCONN has impeccable defense. Since November the woman Huskies have kept there opponents under 60 points and under 20 points within them. Head coach Geno Auriemma has led this team with strong success essentially winning 6 national championships and a perfect win streak.
My favorite basketball team is the New York Knicks! I'm from new york and I love going to games at MSG. Dope Experience. I also love Kentucky and UCONN basketball. Kentucky team is so nice it makes no sense. John Wall, Eric Bledsoe, Demarcus Cousins. I mean i watched them all in high school and they are beast. best offensive team in Ncaa. Uconn because the have so many legends such as Ray Allen "Jesus Shuttlesworth" and my man Richard "rip" Hamilton. And The most underrated player next to Scottie Reynolds. Jerome Dyson! He is a monster. Too Nice. Deron Williams Best PG In The NBA.
my favorite basketball tema professonial is the WASHINGTON WIZARDS cuz i have followed them since i was like 7 and just love watching them play and even tho they are going throu a rough time its ok cuz they will be good soon and we got good players like CARON BUTLER aka Tough Juice and Antawn Jamison and Andray Blatche and cant forget the little big man EaRL Boykins. My favorite college tema even tho i dont like college basketball is the Indiana State Sycamores because thats where i want to go to college
My favorite college basketball team is University of Maryland. I've always liked the way Eric Hayes and Vasquez play together at the guard spots and Milbourne is starting to mature more as a post player. Both my parents went to University of Maryland so I've grown up liking them too.
My favorite college basketball team is Duke because of their history. My favorite team from the NBA are the Lakers because they are a team that can play good offense and also play good defense. Plus, this summer they signed one of my favorite players, Ron Artest.
I dont have a favorite college basketball team. But Kentucky has impressed me this year, especially because of their young prodigy John Wall. He makes games exciting. He is also very smart at handling the basketball, and distributing the ball to his teamates.

university of gonzaga they have the best players in the country matt bouldin and elias harris.... and with big men that rebound well and block shots.
